I never once thought about destroying an AI child, but I live to destroy the reapers.....

Synthesis doesn't actually solve anything though, and not just because it's actually impossible if you account for thermodynamics.

Pure organics will still be created, pure synthetics will still be created, there will still be war, and there are still reapers who just get more hungry everyday.

Technological singularity cannot not be proven by one success. If Shepard was not there to stop it, the quarians and the geth would have killed each other. It can still happen if Shepard cannot persude.

But there won't always be a Shepard to save the day when it's needed.

Yep. And all you have to do in destroy is shoot a tube that will magically kill all the reapers, when the catalsyt obviously doesn't want them destroyed. All you have to do in synthesis is run to the light and drop, and that will make everybody's DNA to change.

If anything, control makes the most sense. Shepard has already died one.

Which backs up the argument. Since Shepard says 'we' he must be an organic correct? Same with the star child. He says 'us', so he must be a Reaper. Otherwise, if you are a leader of an army who is indifferent to you (AI super structure and organic/synthetic robots) you do not refer to yourself as one of them.

Shepard becomes the Reapers.

I don't consider that good in and of itself, but I think it's a sacrifice worth making to save the Geth. I truly don't expect to do anything with them. I don't feel interfering is the best thing to do. I'd probably rebuild the Relays if that was within my power, but other than that...

I'd probably hide out in Dark Space. If you can search through the knowledge of Reapers, then you'd be able to map out the entire Relay Network, open up all the dormant ones.

It's a solution we are told that solves the problem. It's too much of a mess, and it does not make sense now, but with thorough explanation, it can solve it as much as anything else. For now, I'll go with the "synthestics won't kill their unorganic creator". Stupid, but for now, it's as good as anything else.

No, "WE" harvest organics.

Also, some people think they hear bits of Harbingers voice layered in with the catalyst voice as well.

They're both "Reapy" (that's what I'll call it because we don't know the Catalysts origins), but they're still different, that was the point I was trying to make... But I suck at eloquently presenting my opinions and thoughts.

Shepard and Liara are both organic in origin, yet are different.
Harby and Star-Jar are both "Reapy" in origin, yet are different.

Also worth noting that Star-Jar refers to them as "they", so he does consider them a seperate entity from himself.

I hope that's a better portrayal of what i'm trying to say.

balance, I've explained to you why he says that. You want the reapers dead, don't you? You chose destroy. Don't you want to also kill the catalyst as well? You thought about destroying "them".

He controls the reapers, so he tells them to harvest the organics. But he is still partial in the deed. "They" harvest organics.
