I'm betting control and synthesis will be getting some love after the EC is released. Control probably won't destroy much of anything while still stopping the reapers.
Only reason why Control ain't getting love is, well, all 3 endings sucks.
Other one is due to popularity of IT.
So yeah, we need to wait until EC is out to shut down that poorly written fanfic.

I'd be happy seeing less IT around here because of the extended cut. IT drives me crazy.Mesina2 wrote...

It's not time for anger or hate! It's time to show BioWare some support dedicated to upcoming ME3 Extended Cut, and in my case to some particular ending. All Control Ending fans, UNITE!
Why the paragon icon? Control is the renegade choice seeing as preserving the collector base makes it easier to achieve.

I still pick destroy every time but I'm hopeful EC will do more to differentiate the three choices. I'm also hoping they get rid of the Normandy running away to cyberpunk garden of Eden

Neither ME3 ending is Paragon nor Renegade.
Both Control and Destroy can be viewed as both.
Synthesis is just pure evil, at least in it's current form.

Hey, can you create one small banner?
Cause I have very little space left for my sig.

Really it's up to the player to decide whats paragon or not. I chose Destroy but I feel that Control is more Paragon as your taking a risk that you can control the reapers in order to save the Geth/Edi and for a chance to rebuild galactic civilization faster. While I feel Destroy is renegade as you sacrifice the Geth and Edi to ensure that the Reapers won't pose a threat in the future.

My opinion is that if those synthetic parts prove benefitial and increase the quality of life of every single life form, Synthesis is good.

Control is Paragon choice. And just like in real life, in ME Trilogy ranegade choices may have paragon consequences. So, I see nothing illogical in keeping collector's base reduces EMS requirement for Control Ending.

Well, I am fine with it, long enough it's a choice.
But that's not the case.

Synthesis? You just did the Reapers job for them.
So either way, you're left feeling a bit like a dick.

True, but control does seem to be more in line with the renegade ideals to me- its about ambition and harnessing dangerous reaper tech for the good of the galaxy (which is in line with preserving the collector base in ME2). The paragon ideal when it comes to reaper tech is more about caution and disdain towards the technology itself (which was the main reason why destroying the collector base was a paragon decision).
The fact that going renegade in ME2 points you towards achieving Control in ME3 is further evidence for this. Of course, the paragon and renegade paths are both very inconsistent, but the general trend of these paths does point to control being the more renegade option in my view.

Renegade choices have paragon consequences? What does that even mean?

Well I reprogrammed Heretic Geth back in ME2, I think I can live with controling Reapers.
