I'm addicted to this track. The Control epilogue is so epic I nearly cried. Control now seems to be the best choice for the galaxy, but I'm a selfish **** and I'd rather live, so I picked Destroy :

Yeah, I don't blame you. This sentence is not... Good.

Guess it means that the galaxy is screwed, and will need to embrace the ruling of the dictator: Reaper Shepard.

From where did you get that Miranda is plotting against Shepard?

And in my opinion Shepard's creepy voice is pretty awesome, though a bit sad.

Well, having only seen control, I thought it was actually pretty hopeful. I've seen a video where Shepard talks about having an army to keep order and all, but mine seemed less malicious. Still checking out the other endings, but Control is much better now.

How is this the best choice ? I just see foreshadowing of Shepard going the way of the previous catalyst

There also seems to be a slight difference in the start of their speech.

In the paragon version Shepard mention something about "And only now do I understand the extent of his sacrifice.", compared to the renegade version where it says "And only now do I understand the potential of his choice."

Sounds like the paragon catalyst sees its job more as a burden and a sacrifice.

...Also I think this thread's OP should be updated to reflect all we know about the Control now. I'll do it once I'll complete my current playthrough.

There is no "best choice". There is one choice you like, and other choices you don't like. It's as simple as that

There is no "best choice". There is one choice you like, and other choices you don't like. It's as simple as that

...And I think it's now clear that new Catalist will not go the same way as the original Catalist. Because new Catalist has Shepard's way of thinking.

Funny situation. A friend of mine was playing ME, and he always joking about how Paragon Shepard resembles him Optimus Prime. He even called him like that "Commander Shepard, Human Optimus Prime" And he is about to play Extended Cut right now...

If  star kid told me about the details about control I might have gone with it (Shepard the god) but I never go back on my choices (destroy) .Control is now kick ass !!!

I chose destroy before the EC, because i didn't understand Control, ( you will loose everything blabla) but now with the more detailled explanation and after seeing the epilogue , Control is clearly the best ending to me

It really was fantastic, I was a destroy ending fan before EC, but Control is my favorite now. Sucks Shepard dies though. Someone should make a pro control sig that says "Eternal.Infinite.Immortal".
