For those who don't know what the definition of "clutching" in this case, it means.. to perform under pressure at the crucial moment that comes between winning and losing.

When I'm playing Engineer I hold spots for as long as I can with no-one behind me. As an Adept I generally panic and die. With anything else... well, I haven't got to that stage.

This is my approach to things, usually.

If they at least put some effort in, I'll try to end it hastily by using a missile on any enemies that might give me trouble.

fast.
play hide-n-seek
then pick one enemy at the time and try to save the day. Usually the one that chase you will do in orderly manner... (one at the time...)
Sometimes is good some others is not.

Run around pick of smaller enemies, and bust a missle on the bosses-especially if two are near each other. I don't want to be that guy who everyone has to watch for 20 minutes.
Why not? I enjoy trolling them a bit for dying. Leave that Nemesis alone and go for a snack

P.S. : why am I the only one who looks for the Phantoms in PUGs while the rest of the team is focused on the atlas? Atlas big. Can see. Phantom can't see... but if you scan their health bar will show up, or if you look you'll see some little distortion that doesn't look right, so Stasis Bubble!

Seems to happen more this weekend, access where the Banshee/Hunter/Phantom is and keep it ranged chipping away at it.

I keep telling myself "calm down damnit, it's just a game!" but it was ineffective.
Next time it happens, expect a rage quit
