as a soldier I will go at distance and if enemy closes in I can try to hide around a corner using abilityes like PM or CS or Carnage for CC

Infiltrator: you know cloack...shoot...reload cancel...cloack...shoot etc

Vanguard: takes rocket out

Adept: dies

Engeneer: full turret/drone backup and hope you don't miss that Paladin/Carni shot

Sentinel: hum that i donno

Doing all this cool things I will be screaming and crying like a girl in front of a monitor while pixel alien monsters try to kill me

If it won't be productive (early wave / right at the beginning of a wave / mid-objective wave), probably best to just give up. Otherwise, isolate foes and pick them off one-by-one. Missile for tougher targets.

Once I was the last person standing and there was only a banshee left. At the time I was a wimpy little infiltrator. Every time I shot at her she would teleport closer and closer, and while I ran, her shields would regenerate... All my medigels and rockets were out from carrying the team the whole time. I would cloak, shoot, run for my life, repeat, and finally she just put me out of my misery.

Tell me about it... <_<

Typically, I see this happen with me on silver - with or without my buddies on waves 7-10. If It's on 10, I complete the objective (usually an activate/deactivate, not even 2 are done when I start). I then talk massive [censored] to everyone while showing them how its much better to not die within the first 30 sec. of a wave, while probably using the corner shot to kill something big (banshee/atlas/prime).

I'm even worse when someone w/ a higher rank than me is in the lobby (rare) and typically is toting a level 20 GI, while I'm a >10 QI.

Had one occasion where it happened this weekend on FBWGG and it was me VS 2 primes and a Banshee. Sooo many laps around the map happened that wave.

I take it slowly and carefully, wearing them down one by one, moving between well-fortified positions.

And yeah, the Inf has a hard time soloing the banshee. Too much time between shots/volleys allowing her to regen, and it's really hard to hit her through a scope when she's teleporting, even when heading straight toward you. But the Salarian can Energy Drain her, which helps a lot.

Depends. On Bronze, I just take care of whatever is left on the map, so long as all objectives are achieved, sometimes running away to put some distance between me and the baddies. If there is still a hacking mission? Umm... I dunno.. Die?

On Silver or Gold, I now usually play Geth Infiltrator. So I try to find a quiet corner, hoping they leave me alone. Then they don't and I try to use my cloak and wallhack.. errr.. Hunter Mode to the best effect.

Usually, I try not to let it get that far, by actively reviving people as quickly as possible. Hate it when someone dies -right in front of a teammate- because I thought they would revive them.

The hard thing is that when the pressure is at its highest and your alone you have 3xplayers watching your every move.
This means that when I die by doing something dumb they can all see it.
I usually console myself with the knowledge that they died first :)

Run and run and run. Take your shots when it's absolutely safe. Missiles reserved for banshees. Everything else can be worn down. Worst though... one time, cleared about the last half of a gold reaper 9 wave with the drell adept. Run and reave, run and reave, shooting rarely. Missiled the last two banshees. Finally got the last brute down. Holed, down to just one marauder. He turns round, I 'nade away his shields, go to punch the pull button for clinch, and accidentally reave. He faceshots me and I die in utter humiliation.

If I'm the last one alive, and it's not bronze, I know I'm likely screwed so I just do what I can to get a few more points. And I get nervous when all eyes are on me.

Depends on the class and difficulty. I can survive on Bronze and Silver with anything most of the time. Just keep running and it will be fine. When on I play on Gold, and there's only one enemy left, and it's a Phantom or a Banshee, I use a missile without thinking even if I could run away easily. It's a bad habit, but I wouldn't risk it in the 8-9th wave.

I usually finish the wave to my lonesome, but is something goes wrong.. These are my 2 reactions.. when I fail to "clutch" the wave.

For those who don't know what the definition of "clutching" in this case, it means.. to perform under pressure at the crucial moment that comes between winning and losing.

That guy who did the New Vegas vid is hilarious

I win the wave and then do it again next wave.

Sure the other guys might be yelling hurry up, but if their asses didn't suck so badly I wouldn't have to kill the whole wave by myself when they die within 15 seconds.

Good question, I try to run away, or if most of the resting enemies are stucked together I give them 1-2 rockets, if I have more rockets (5) I use all, to nervous to kill one by one while they are after me :-))) Out of five times I survived only one (gold matches) ^^ - not nice alone as AA or AJ.
