[Uhh.. Jonah]

 Okay, so, imagine yourself on FBW, on the stairs outside where everyone likes to camp. There's a screaming banshee right in front of you, and also a grenade ready to blow that's behind you. What would you do?

Welp, I chose to run towards the banshee... aaaaaaand cue the wierd impaling sound.

Feel free to post other tough situations you've been in where you had no clue what to do.

Two ravagers or a Banshee. Picked the Ravagers and got close enough before they locked on, got acid-d and melted out.

The grenade will probably kill me, so I'd take my chances with the Banshee. You never know, she might miss... grenades don't miss. Learned it the hard way.

This. I can be revived or medi-gel after the grenade, but a Banshee hug lasts forever.

Jumping to the side would literally have gotten me nowhere. It still keep me in the range of the grenade. The grenade was behind me so I had to move either backwards or forwards to avoid it.

or just roll around the banshee; can't grab you while you're rolling.

It depends on what class you were really. If you were a tanky krogan you should run past the grenade. If you were an asari or something take your chances with the Banshee

Take cover for 40% DR, eat grenade.

class makes a difference, but so does the level your playing on as well. With my Asari Justicar in a defensive biotic shield, while in cover, can survive a grenade no problem on Bronze or Silver. If it's gold, I might get lucky enough for my shield to regenerate before something else can attack my character.

Then again, that wouldn't be my best course of action. I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest in using a missile to kill the Banshee and run to safety.

Pick up the grenade, eat it. Then, punch the Banshee to death. Celebrate with a cold lager. MWAHAHAHAHARR!
