So, I've seen 3 people now, getting grabbed and stabbed by Banshees, yet I managed to revive them!!
Seems very unusual to me, but it has happened. Have any of you seen this?

Yes, they just get killed by other enemies before the animation reaches climax.

One that I revived was killed by the last enemy, which was the Banshee. Pure luck I guess.

You can rez them if you run to them and start reviving when she is killing.

Had a random one yesterday when a phantom did her insti kill on me, and it killed me, then revived me teleporting me a short distance away. Was well weird.

Happened to me once, and now I know why. Still doesn't match up with the fact that she still broke me neck.
On another note, perfect karma was exacted when another banshee grabbed me in the middle of me doing a biotic charge on her.

Sometimes a banshee would grab me and then spontaneously put me back down without someone killing it. Weird...

Most I've seen is I managed to save a teammate w/a biotic explosion with lucky timing.

If you can get the Banshee to stagger before she impels the squad mate, they will be dropped and revive-able. To stagger, you have to do a lot of damage in a short period. Focused fire by all squadies, or biotic explosions/tech burst can generally stagger.
