It's an hour and a half long so brace yourselves:

I'll comment after I've finished watching it. Cheers!

This guy shoots SOOO many holes into the ending, it's not funny.
Seriously pro-enders, what the hell? How do you defend this?

ANOTHER one? Christ, poor guy.
I'll have to save this one for tomorrow.

I wouldn't have the strength to analyse the ending and ME3's narrative for as long as Smudboy has.

I just saw it. There were points I laughed so hard I was crying. I dunno why the way smudboy says and points out things makes the plot holes and stuff of ME3 so hilarious in an ironic way to me. Actually, I always did tend to find irony one of the most appealing forms of comedy to my tastes, so that might be part of it, and Smudboy is very good at pointing out ironies in a well timed manner for comedy I guess. I hope Bioware makes all their writers and such watch this before working on the Extended Cut.

He did an analysis of ME1 and 2, and while he had a lot of good points it never really affected my enjoyment of the games. 3 on the other hand had a main plot so flawed that it broke the game for me and very few people need smudboy to point out the problems anymore.

Not the biggest fan of Smudboy, with the rather strange interpretation he had for ME2, but at least this is something we can agree on.

Same, I haven't watched his ME2 vids, but he doesn't like it, while I enjoyed the hell out of it...
Oh well. Doesn't change how broken the end to the series is.

He had a brain hernia with the ending. Of course the ending was enough to give anyone a brain hernia. 90 minutes on 10 minutes. Awesome.

It really doesn't need a ton of analysis. It was really poorly written. Kind of like by a middle school last minute contribution for the last chapter of a sci-fi story submitted without review... oops this was submitted without review, but by adults!

Smudboy was actually trying to figure out what was going on. And he did this even after I'd sent him an e-mail warning him not to do this part and wait for the EC like the rest of us. But he couldn't. Alas.

The whole series is broken, and the worst stuff starts with ME2. But most people seem to ignore it, cause "the characters were great" I guess... Yes they were, but they were in the wrong story, as Smud said. But even these people got totally blown to their asses by the unbelivable thing that is ME3 ending, fancy that... it cant be ignored.

I'm not sure you understand the definition of that word...

If I never played ME2 nor watched his vids, I would be ingorant; but, alas I have and most of what he points out is BS.

However, his analysis of ME3 is on point.

Good video, but pretty depressing. I still don't understand how BW could come up with such terrible ending(s).

Just finished watching that video. I don't agree with what he says about ME2, but everything he says about ME3 is true to the dot.

This is a really nice and fair critique of the ending, I hope BioWare see this, not because I want them to feel bad. But because it is valuable.

Can't believe i overlooked the fact that the Reapers don't gain nearly enough recruits each cycle to sustain their population.

Dear god. Such an obvious flaw.

EC can't fix this ****. Lol.

I bet guys from Bioware watch this and laugh at all the stupid nerds who get worked up about video game endings and will probably never get laid.

Tell me I am wrong... Tell me Bioware doesn't think of their fans like this.

I hope they get worried that thier work might actually get checked for consistency and if it makes any bloody sense.

Or failing that, that they might lose thier writing jobs because they got torn a new one by someone just using common sense and some understand of literary techniques.

Sadly, I think you would win your bet.  Bioware has our money and every cent spent on a Bioware game from now on validates its scorn for its customers.  The only way we can change this paradigm is to stop purchasing Bioware's products.

Unfortunately, this will not happen as proven by The Creative Assembly who treat their customers as paying beta testers and Lionhead Studios (Peter Molyneux) who have repeatedly failed to deliver the actual Fable games they hyped.  I am sure there are many more examples.

Unless the EC is a miracle of storytelling  salvation, ME3 will be my last Bioware purchase.  There are plenty of other good games out there to spend my money on.
