The final smudboy video provided more closure for me than the actual ending. Now im more angry than sad at bioware for rushing the ending to their flagship series.

ME3's ending is possibly the worst written work I've ever seen or read. The fact that Bioware defends this ending by telling us that it was all intended from the start is amusing.

So Bioware, WHAT WAS THE POINT IN MASS EFFECT 1????

While I partially disagree with some of Smud's ..er for lack of a better term "hatred" of ME2, he put so many holes in the ending that it went from being just cheese, to Swiss cheese.

Funny how popular he suddenly is. I guess it took ME3's ending for people to learn to love his obsessive nitpicking. Wonder how many people praising him are new to BSN.

Personally, I can't bring myself to watch another of his videos. If he did a subtitled one so I didn't have to hear his voice I might watch it. For some reason the sound of his voice makes me want to hurt someone.

This coming from the guy who said "Mass Effect 2 has one of the worst plots in the history of gaming sequels."

Don't get me wrong, I hate the ME3 ending as much as the next guy.....but Smudboy? The guy hates everything Mass Effect-related beyond the first game and is obsessed with making sure everyone knows how much he hates it (ex. He has over 40 videos about how "objectively bad" the Mass Effect 2 story is).

Mass Effect 2 story is objectivly bad it just didn't do much to diminish from the overall experience.

The fact that you liked it has nothing to do with anything. Some people like the ME3 ending, despite it being the most objectively contradictory and inconsistent thing to have ever been.

Sure, ME2's plot may have been literally irrelevant and a bit silly at times, but it didn't exactly throw me to the point where i can't play the game anymore due to the ludicrousness of the plot. Didn't have everyone yelling and screaming at me what could and couldn't be done when i damn well know they were wrong.

ME3 on the other had, is just stupid right from the moment you meet Liara at mars.

Yeah, I kinda agree. And w/ the length of his vids, it can get a tad bit slow going because of his 'nitpicking' of the small stuff. Still, it adds/builds up to how messed up the whole is.

I think he once commented that the "nitpicking" was so that nobody complained he hadn't address a particular issue.

i agreed with smudboy about ME2 and its even easier to agree with him about ME3.

He analyzes the PLOT of the game. ME2 was a fun game, but the PLOT was largely irrelevant and non-sensical at times. Based on ME2, I wasn't expected much in terms of plot for ME3 but BW still manged to crawl underneath my very low bar.
