Let's cleanse all the negativity from out mind for a minute. What are you favorite moments?
5. That "oh crap" moment when the Collector ship jumps in behind the Normandy SR2.
4. Exploring the Direlect Reaper. The ship was one of my favorite looking levels. Nice touches with the Cerberus scientests being indoctrinated.
3. Thanes final battle and death. I don't think they could possibly have sent him off better.
2.
Talking to Sovereign on Virmire. Finding out that he wasn't a Reaper ship, but an Actual Reaper. So mysterious and omnious
1. The galaxy fleet passing through the Sol System and engaging the Reapers. So awesome to see all the work from the series come together and attack the Reapers.

I can't really point to five off the top of my head. But I got a really good laugh when I took Tali with me into the catacombs of the arachnid queen of ME3 and she started panicking: "Spiders! Spiders! Spiders! SPIDERRRS!"

actually I thought this was awfully done. I expected better IMO. but to put that aside for the sake of the thred:
I did like when you get to see Wrex/Wreav (yes I like Wreav) back on the Normandy in ME3 with the "summit" Diplomacy
"The Krogan has a Name: Urdnot Wrex and I'm not some Junkyard Varen you can unleash whenever your in trouble"

2- surviving the debri after destroying soveirgn. Watching Shepard come out after everybody thought he parishes (plus music) wax badass.

4- grunts mission in me3 particular the end sequence. Glorious.
5- the whole priority tuchanka. I don't really need to say much about those missions. They speak for themselves.
Honorable mention the surkesh mission and the citadel missions in me3.

5. The opening sequence of ME2 where the ship gets cut to pieces and you get spaced. Really didn't see that one coming. (ME2)
4. The Collectors ARE the Protheans! The Collector Ship mission got so many things right and made the game (ME2)
3. Talking with Vigil on Ilos. Really got across the feeling of talking to a dead civilization. (ME1)
2. The missile battery battle with seemingly endless waves of Reaper troops with the Destroyer slowly moving in and suffocating you. Perfectly designed set-piece battle. (ME3)
1. Fighting your way back to the Council Chamber with Sovereign looming in the background. Hugely epic. (ME1)
ME1 is still my favorite of the series though. It's the perfect video game, IMO.

Oh, honorable mention: the Geth Server Mission (ME3).
Unique and the slow pacing made it feel like a turning point. It made me want to yell BULLSH*T to the Catalyst in the conversation about Created versus Creator (like Neo in the conversation with the Architect in the Matrix)
This mission was so well done it actually diminished the ending for me, even though I'm much less critical of it than most.
