Secretly everyones list has all the Mass effect games as 1,2,3 as the top three lol.

Its their way of "bucking" the system to say they never liked mass effect.

Otherwise....why would they be here? If they really disliked ME...wouldnt they go and spend all their time on another forum? even starbrat makes more sense lol

Having the ME games at the bottom of the list does not necessarily mean "hated/disliked the games". It could also mean "liked the other games more than the ME games".

ME1,ME2 near top.ME3 too much wrong and bugs not fixed for even hoping to be placed near the top of my list.

1.ME3(while we all have some issues, and that BIG one it was still a great game)
2.ME1(just the feeling of discovering the universe for the first time turned me into a SCI-FI geek)
3.ME2 Was awesome in every way it just isnt as dear to me as the previous two games... out of them all it is probably the best game objectivly speaking but we arent being objective... we are talking bout our Favs.
4.KOTOR 1 Ranks up there with ME1
5.DA: Origins
6.DA:2

These could possibly be my top six of ALL the games I've ever played; I've enjoyed thousands of hours of gaming on them. Even without the batty ending, ME3 had lost so much depth and immersion, boiling down to a simple shooter interspersed with epic (but often depressing) cut scenes, that it wouldn't have made it anywhere near these other games. Even DA2 was better from a roleplaying perspective.

Haven't played any of Bioware's Star Wars games, I recently purchased Knights of the Old Republic and I really mean to play it through some day. Dragon Age never really caught me like Mass Effect ever did hence the same score as none of them stand out in a good or bad way. Oh and I really like ME 1's story but the game is incredibly frustrating to play today because it runs like crap and there's so many annoying gameplay choices that it feels like a chore to go through most times.

The thing is, even the first Mass Effect to make the list for me (ME1) is below BG, KotOR, NWN and DAO. However, if we were to rank the settings/universes, then I'd have...

1) Mass Effect Universe
2) The Old Republic Era of Star Wars
3) Dragon Age: Origins Setting
4) Forgotten Realms Setting of D&D (BG & NWN)
5) Jade Empire Universe
6) MDK Universe

I totally agree that Planescape: Torment is a great game, but it isn't one that BioWare made . Black Isle developed it. However, they used BioWare's Infinity engine for it. 


Okay, I would list my BioWare games like this:

1. Baldur's Gate 2 / ToB (I guess I can bury my hopes that there will ever be a Baldur's Gate 3)
2. Dragon Age: Origin
3. Baldur's Gate /TotSC
4. Mass Effect (the side-missions were a bit "chewy" but otherwise a great game)
5. Mass Effect 3 (without the ending)
6.  Mass Effect 2 (better side-missions but on the other hand it felt like running errands for the majority of the game)
7. Neverwinter Nights
8. Dragon Age II (Compared with DA:O, I actually think they improved the connection between characters and submissions, but  I really disliked the level design)

That's about it, since I never played the Star Wars games.

You shouldn't. A 'remake' (if you can really call it that) of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 is already in the works. Made by Overhaul Games. They managed to convince Atari (They own the rights to the Baldur's Gate franchise now) to fund them and they also have a high interest in making a BG3. If Atari agrees, it might happen

Therefore, DAII never actually happened.)
