Let's see... I would rank it in the middle ground. To make things simple:
Bioware games I love:
-Dragon Age: Origins
-Neverwinter Nights (specially the campaign expansions)
-Mass Effect 2
Bw games I like, but with some important reservations:
-Mass Effect 1
-KOTOR
-Mass Effect 3
-Baldur's Gate saga
Bw games I openly dislike:
-Dragon Age 2
Bioware games I love:
-Dragon Age: Origins
-Neverwinter Nights (specially the campaign expansions)

Other games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter, I've never played. More of a console than computer gamer, so I really can't comment. Jade Empire is one of the greatest stories in the form of a game ever told. Combat system lacked a little, but otherwise great game. My first Bioware game ever played, and its my all time favorite. Sequel maybe?
Come to think of it, all the games I liked had great stories and a mediocre combat system. *cough* pay attention EA *cough*
Do I even have to state why DA2 is the top of the hate list, same with ME3. To the questions about ME2, yes it was a great game and story, but it had nothing to do with the main plot given by ME1. Your fighting, stopping, or trying to delay the reapers, not to go on a pointless suicide mission. The only thing that connects the collectors to the reapers is that we're told they are the reapers helpers, that's it.
ME2 as a stand alone game was great, but since its connected to ME1, it doesn't make any sense to be in the same storyline.

Mass Effect 2 - Best replay value, I have replayed five times at least

It's hard for me to say if I like ME3 more than I do ME2. They both have something over the other one.
The build up and pay off of ME2's suicide mission is what makes it such a strong contender, especially considering the lackluster Earth mission.

That's not to say I didn't like ME3, the multiplayer is amazing and some of the story is just as good, but the single-player just felt more... empty than other Bioware games.

No, just cause JE is at the bottom does not mean I think its bad, its still a near perfect game. But so is ME3 (the only problem i have is the ending...really.)
