I think phantom idea in general is animeish and stupid, tough ill kinda let it slide since fiction is fiction. Anyone should know that you dont bring a sword into a gun fight, unless ofc youre a jedi or something. Bayonettes and combat knives are ok, but dont bring a sword...

Whenever I fire Ballistic Blades at a Phantom it doesn't stagger them. They also don't use their magic barrier of invunerability. They just ignore it completely.

Fortunatly I've come up with a solution (having a charged Graal shot ready, when I begin the Heavy melee it fires and THAT staggers them), but it's still annoying.

no hes right. if i dont throw a power, the phantom will react to my shot even if im the only person shooting and get dmg resistance from her flip. i think she must get 80%

If she has her hands up in the air you won't do **** too her till she goes into to cover or goes back to moving.

You'll have to wait till you or someone staggers her.  Thats why generally the GPS/Graal is the better shotgun on the Phantom since a charged shot will stagger them.  But I hate chargeing weapons.

Whoever said they can block weapons with that handmovement they use to block powers, I have never experienced that, might be weapon specific (possibly amor piercing works against it, the BW has inate AP).


Seemingly weird hitzones, especially during lags, been there, less damage during flips, yes, seen that,  I've never really seen her flip that much when using the BW weirdly enough, full auto stuff will make them dance though, which makes it even worse if you're throwing powers that you know are ineffective, or use some peashooter that won't make a dent in her barrier.

Do a solo match on Gold vs phantom.

Use a Human infiltrator with Cyro blast

Shoot her with Cyro and then a Black Widow, by the time you get the 2nd (even 1st) she'll put her hands up and you'll do zero damage.  Other times I've been able to knock off a headshot when she does this but more often then not your weapon damage will be nullified.

the blue hands give them very high damage or invincibility from weapon. idk. i just dont shoot them. its usually not a problem for snipers because they dont force them into flips and weapons dont force them to use their anit power god mode

Phantoms are a pain to deal with, but that's what a Krogan is for. Otherwise, strip shields and always have backup. Also, I've given up using heavy, one-shot weapons on phantoms. Spray them with automatic fire.

Oh, and don't forget using survival packs when kiting. Those hand blasters are nasty.

No, you did it to subtly imply I don't know what I'm doing because I don't grind my way through a solo game, you cheeky little phantom killer you.

I take any PUG game over any solo effort, thank you very much, though I realise some of my more outlandish experiments might annoy other people from time to time.

I'm probably not that good either, that even I kill phantoms fairly regularly should further dispel nerf notions however, eh?
 

Only asked you to use a power since most of the time in a team someone would've already used it.

Which is why they shouldn't, I have no qualms telling them that, I also have no qualms eating my words if they get close to me and use a medigel (if possible) so I don't endanger johnny Salarian trying to revive me.

Sometimes a phantom gets you, that's life, no reason to nerf them just because of it.

you arent good at debate. obviously what i said about everyone that took notice of you was about the people that commented. they didnt like you. stricko, who is an unbiased third party, seemed to think you were a troll.  i didnt mention razrei and talon because you seem to not like them. you did tell people to be contributors. you told him to give useful advice to an inexperienced player mr. elitist. you didnt really stick up for me either. i kind of disregarded his comment. im not sure if you understand what i said about hypocrisy, but it was unrelated to phantoms. it was how you told him to contribute while doing nothing yourself. everybody that voiced their opinions isnt a given to go against you either. invalid argument. the thing about the dickwad comment is that your calling people names and it doesnt matter if they did it to you or not. you made many insults. btw i forgot to add "****** ass" to the list. as for that last paragraph, you are doing the exact same thing

You're projecting.

I always defend my positions with fact and reasoning.  You are the one deflecting context.  You also claim to not give a damn yet you keep replying.  You claim I take it to no end yet you are partaking in the same.  Both hold true about the other dude too.  The difference is, I am the one being personally attacked, and you bet your ass I will always stand up and defend against it.  You both though, are putting way too much effort into some worthless smear campaign against some anonymous internet poster.  I mean seriously, I said something you didn't like.  Get over it. 

As far as my manifest goes, I hid it yesterday because I thought it was just downright pathetic how some here actually look at them and then try to use it against the person in some pathetic illogical argument (kinda like how you just did lmao).  Nothing all that remarkable about mine.   People have seen it.  Everything at level X but some ultra rares.  Whoopie!
