I don't agree with the closing of that thread. But I might as well kick this off with a vaguely relevant post. That was a horrible ending to what ended up being a pretty bad game.

It's a hedge against future releases by BioWare and/or EA. The multiplayer DLC is free, yes, but there are future games and single-player paid DLC planned. For my part, I will wait for the Extended Cut DLC and then decide whether or not to adopt a "wait and see" approach to future products or just give it up as a bad job.

This is the essence, IMHO, of the disaffected fanbase.

The DLC has been free because people are still spending money on the Packs...

If ME3 didn't have microtransactions, the multiplayer packs would either likely either not exist, or would cost money.

Anyway, ending sucks. Want a new one.

Or, at the very least, I'd like the tools to make a new one.

I think it's nice that Bioware are doing MP DLC for free for the time being BUT (a very big but) MP was never the issue, the ending was. I'm glad the EC is going to be free but the EC is going to be the deal breaker for me whether I purchase future single player DLC which I doubt will be free, so they need to persuade me greatly due to me feeling like I been mislead.

I still cant fathom how they thought the ending was complete. *sigh*

Agreed very much.

Even though I don't mind the multiplayer (and it'll be interesting to see what they do with this new expansion), this is an RPG. That means role-playing game, not rocket-propelled grenade.

Meh, I guess I've come a long way from two months. I didn't feel like playing anything for several weeks.
I finally played some other favorites and I'm fine. Just hoping EC will light my ME3 fire again. I'll still enjoy ME2 on it's own if nothing else. I'm worn out on 'ending sucks'.

I never cared for MP in any game.

It is a nice gesture, but one that can't, by it's very nature, address the real issue.

The ending is what we care about Bioware.

I'm starting to feel like Johnny Deep's character at the end of Secret Window.

Its not like we have anything new to talk about either... We can talk about the ending, or the bugs/glitches in the game... Can we please get some news?

Summer runs from June 20 to september 21 in the northern hemisphere, so no, it is not yet summer, not even technically.
