I've suddenly got a strong feeling of TtFaR coming from Bioware, which would explain why they're not saying anything at all and why they're adamant on keeping it how they want it. I suppose in the eyes of some idiot, it's a good idea. However, I strongly feel that it has backfired on the writers and has caused the franchise to survive, while instead of it taking the fire, people are out to get them instead.

We're talking about a 4th option for the ending.  One where we tell Star-Brat "No! Now get the Frack out of our Galaxy." but also an option to kick him off the platform.

I can see it now, with Bioware's amazing artistic integrity:

Shepard:  No, this is our Galaxy now, get out of it!

Starchild:  That is madness!  The cycle must continue...

Shepard steps away, looks up at the surrounding space with the space battles raging.

Shepard: Madness?

Shepard turns around, placing the Starchild between him and open space.

Shepard: THIS IS MASS EFFECT!

Shepard kicks the Starchild off into space.

I have jsut now started to play on my 360 again. I am playing Fallout3/newvegas/rage/crysis1$2. Cant awwm to play ME 1 or 2 as after a few the feelign come back and i lose interest. They ahve ruined this fo rme and even if a 4 comes out i will not participate. What is funny is Gamestop here says allo taht bought from them here feel same way. Guess one fo my favorite vendors Boiware is gone as I do nto trust them any mroe. I got the most horrible ending and didnt get to pick any paths as after the stupid child spok and i moved stick a little i took off running and couldnt stop ,y guy. As many I loved the story but they will never get a chance to betray me again.

It took me a month but head-canon got me to start up my new Shepard in ME1 again and once he was done I did import my Renegade from ME2.   I'm thinking of a femShep since I've never done a full game as a femShep, I could romance Garrus and see what's that's like. 

I hope the EC works becuase I don't want to be depressed at the ending of ME3.  I'm OK with bittersweet ending (I'd like a happy ending option too) but not one that puts you into such a depressed funk as the current ending.

Hey all what's up this cloudy day?I still hate the ending and think ME3 is a solid 6 out of 10.Had a migraine and cousins visit the last two days(wonder if related?)
Just watched the new DA movie (twice)way better then ME3 ending and had a good story line that had very few to none plot holes.Have not watched any funmicom in a long time took some getting used to.If you liked Casandra in DA:2 get it.If you hated the Chantry don't get it.I would have bought this story as a DLC.It had previews of Mass Effect movie art,Won't be buying the ME movie based on the fact kids (M rated game now has kids in it's movie)are now on the Normandy with James.I also hope the EC works far better than I think it will.

The DA movie is out? Cool.

The more I think about it, the more disappointed I am with ME3 as a whole. Yes, each arc in Shepard's universe-hopping journey has an emotional conclusion, but they all feel so disjointed. Especially when, in the middle of a war where every second costs countless human lives, we have to take a jog over to the Citadel to talk to our teammates. There's only the vaguest sense of urgency.  And the conversations with characters other than Liara and Vega are few and far between.

Also, old news, but why would Chris Priestly put a poll about the IT on HTL if Bioware won't use the IT in the EC is puzzling.

IT is a free mulligan. No Space Brat, a proper battle through the Citadel rather than limping along. It's better than thinking that ANYONE at Bioware believed the existing ending was adequate.

Threadnought has been moved? Been busy moving house and dealing with stuff so haven't had time to check it for a while. Any major developments in the past few weeks or are they still hoping we'll be satisfied with the Extended Cut DLC and then distracted sufficently by DA3 that we'll forget about it by the time they leak/announce whatever the next game in the ME series is/will be?

Edit: Also, is it just me or does BW Social hate IE? Had to swap over to Chrome to post this.

I hate the ME3 ending,If I was Khan it would be Kirk!I'm not going to pre-order DA3 like I did 2.I want someone big and brave to let me know it's worth the money.
Course you know they'll tack a NPC,mission,dog to the pre oders,and as someone stated on an earlier post we'll probably need a net connection just for single player.If there is a single player.At least in the DA movie the elves ears were not donkyized.

Yeah, it's truely awful, I haven't been able to play a ME game (formerly a staple of my gaming diet) since I finished ME3, except for an hour for the Turn On/Turn Off campaign. Longest I've gone without playing any ME game since I first experienced ME1 way back when.

Also, seconded, I'm waiting for a reviewer I trust to review it before I decided to pick DA3 up (Yahtzee/Archengeia/somebody who isn't an industry funded puppet).

I won an iPad2 last week so I picked up the ME3 Datapad, Final Hours, and Infiltrator apps. Datapad and Final Hours is interesting. I also have fun with a few rounds of MP too.

I hope the EC brings a variety of endings from current Grim-Dark to new Bittersweet to semi-happy endings.

Shepard lives but LI and multiple crew members died = Bittersweet / Sad. Epilogue us Shepard at a memorial for the fallen.

Shepard dies but LI and crew survive = Bittersweet / Sad. Epilogue is LI and crew at a memorial for fallen.

Shepard lives and so does LI and most of crew = Happy. Epilogue is LI reunion at the memorial for the fallen
