After the really really bad ending and plot holes a C-17 could fly through in ME3, I'm leary of buying anything DA3 or ME3 DLC related. So would one of you buy it first and let me know if it's worth playing this summer (or whenever it comes out).Sorry mods or BW/rEAper employees need not apply. You all can't tell the truth.

Someone on YouTube will inevitably buy the EC and other DLCs and post videos of them.

Meh, never mind a C-17, a whole bloody galaxy could fit through some of those plot-holes.

Unless DA3 is vastly more like DA:O than DA2 it can go swing as far as I'm concerned. Boring, repetitive, stupidly over exaggerated combat interspersed with the same stretches of cave and beach over and over again was enough to mar the game for me despite the fact that the premise was decent and the storyline seemed pretty solid. Also party interaction in DA2 was odd, some of it was brilliant but the way all your companions would jump into bed with your Hawke, regardless of gender, at the drop of a hat almost put me off most of them. Also, dialogue wheels are fine in Mass Effect but I like the list DA:O had, even if they then used an actor to read them out I'd prefer a list.

Back on topic, I still don't understand why the Keepers and Saren/Sovereign and the Geth were need to activate the Citadel's Mass Relay function when the Bratalyst AI was already there. Are BW covering that in the EC? Or are they just ignoring the fact that they just invalidated the entire plot of ME1 right there?

Something tells me this thread is going to be dead pretty soon if the people back at the old original thread don't soon realize that a new one (v2.0) has been made.

Buy it?  It's free.  It's not like you'll be out any money if you see it for yourselves.  And there should be an autosave close to the end, so you won't lose a whole lot of time on it.

Oh we do know it exists, but becuase there now seems to be  ZT policy on OT we have found a new venue for our OT discussion, and if we have anything original to say about the ending I am sure we will come back and say it.

I was disappointed in the ending becuase I was told there would be 16 endings, and after 20 playthroughs I could only find 15 different endings... ;)

I feel that the game's ending was pro- Red, Blue, and Green, and was prejudiced against the Yellow, Purple, and Orange demographics.

I think it was discriminate against people who are colour-blind... They get 1 ending, instead of us who get 1 colour-coded ending...

True. How are they supposed to tell if they got the good ending?

So I'm watching "In the Name of the King 2" (yes, there are two, and I am watching out of morbid curiosity mostly), and guess what? It's turned into a hunt for "the Catalyst". I do not know if this will end with a Star Brat, but I like to think it will.

Yup, Bioware's writing somehow churned out a Uwe Boll movie. I don't even...? I mean, I believe an infinite number of monkeys with typewriters and an infinite amount of time will put out Shakespeare, but this? Difficult to swallow.

Edit: Nope, turns out it was a dragon. Not even a Star Dragon, just a regular dragon.

Oh no, many people realized there was a new thread.  However, after the rather unceremonious "end of line" comment from the mods, I suspect many people have taken their business elsewhere.  There are other, more tolerant locales for people to discuss their concerns.

I think it's the most glaring plot hole, and the one question that haunted me about this whole mess since day 1.

What were they thinking ?!

This ending wasn't checked by the whole team, period.

To answer your question, no one knows the answer..

What other forum?

As an aside, I have to say I do agree with the closing of the original thread; it was completely off topic 99% of the time as of late (which is why I stopped checking it even remotely regularly).

I also found the "End of Line" comment at its closing entertaining (it got a laugh out of me, not gonna lie). I know some people probably took it personally, but it really should be taken as a witty remark by a mod who was forced to close a thread that really should have been closed a long time ago (and a fitting epitaph). The proof? That same mod came to the new thread and cautioned us to not spam and keep it on topic (removing the offending posts) rather than close it down again.

And an on-topic question: Do we have a release date for EC?

The party moved here months ago:

http://kyriene.com/K...c.php?f=66&t=38

We are at page 88, atm.

Privately run forum. Free of BSN mods. Lot's of fun and free Internet cookies.

I told Ninja Stan there would be repercussions to his heavy-handed Modding. By driving away the moderates waiting for news (instead of just moving the thread) the only thing left in the vacuum is the haters and the fanboys. At the moment the moderates just don't care for Bioware or BSN's policies right now.

If the only thing left on BSN is fanboys (after the haters are ban-hammered), Bioware will drift further from what the market actually wants. They will then be left to wonder why the EC is not as well recieved as they feel it should be.

I stopped by just to give +1 to this.
Haven't been here for a while, quick look at the MP section, don't plan on staying either.

The problem with moving to a different forum is that it makes it easier for BW to ignore us.

Thank you very much.

Edit: Oh, on topic: Am actually hopeful on EC, will at the very least be hilarious, hoping I don't need to play multiplayer to be able to download said EC

True but we're also using it to talk about other non-BW games that we're interested in. Image IPB

Well. That's already happening.

Plus, HTL has CP posting on it. So this proves it is not the case.

Either way. Nothing constructive to say on anything BW is doing at the moment and they are locking down everything else.
