But until BioWare actually start treating their customers like people I am just going to lurk here when possible and stop saying anything, the ending still sucks, the EC will still not fix the issue and BioWare have officially lost any future buisness from me.
This ending ruined an brilliant series of games and that's a shame.
Talk with you guys if you message me!

As sad as it is... I can only agree with you about the ending. It retroactively destroyed replay-value for ME1-2 and I can only assume that they dont want our money anymore...xHezz90 wrote...

I still think Jeremy Jahns and Angry Joe have the best videos on why we hate the ending so much, when the heck is there going to be more news on the EC, isn't it technically summer now?!?!
The EC is probably gonna be out 2-3 days before fall...
Let them take their time with it. Last thing we need are "EC Rushed" threads all over the place. Or for the EC to be a major let down because it was rushed.

I played the living hell out of ME1 and ME2, I've lost count of all my play-through with those 2 combined. (450+ hours on steam from ME2 alone, I have a problem I'm told)
I played ME3 once, and then started a second play-through and turned it off after Rannoch, and haven't touched it since.
I actually forgot my origin log-in info for awhile.

I really hope it does help. But then again I was not in the "the ending sucks" group, I was in the group that scratched their heads in mass confusion. So I imagine that weighs in on me being hopeful for the EC.

I think I had about 20 play-throughs lined up to play. Been through ME3 once... Its just not worth playing...Lookout1390 wrote...

I told myself that ME3 was the game of all games for me personally, that it was the one game that no matter what, I was going to absolutely love to death and play the **** out of it.
Well so much for that.
I guess my expectations were too high, even though Bioware had a mountain of content to go with, and they decided to screw the pooch and tried to maximize profit when completely forgetting the fans who made ME what it was today.
And I still can't believe what they did to the Talimancers with that photoshop picture of Tali.
MP is so tacked on and damn boring, it was fun for a week but then I got sick of it. To even get the maximum best ending I had to play it, made me even sicker.

Shhhh!! do not tell my dean that. Now that I'm back in school I must say I'm enjoying this thing called summer vacations. Oil field work in the west Texas summer sun can be quite brutal.
Anyway I think it will come out sooner than that. I'm feeling strangely optimistic all of a sudden.
About both the release date and content.

In fact, let me sing us all a song...
*Piano chord*
Once upon a tiiiime... In March two thousand twelve...
We all played a game, it flew off the shelves...
An RPG in space, to save the galaxy twas a race,
But why after the ennnndinngg did we want to punch bioware in the faaaaace?
Oh the choices three did annoy me,
the plot holes gave me moles,
the crews fate made me hate,
and the starchilds smile was vile buuuuut...
I thought the ending twas a dream,
It seemed the internet agreed,
The only other explanation,
Was that it was made with speed,
(chorus)
The signs were there,
but bioware did not care,
they had not planned it all along
we were plain wrong
(chorus)
We were set upon by the gaming press,
"Kids" ,"whiners", a " joke" a "mess"
but we held firm, we would not give in,
and they finally realised, that there were more of us than them
(chorus)
We demanded change,
We ranted, we raved, and speculated,
It was like talking to a brick wall,
And we were all frustrated
(chorus)
They posted on twitter to stem the rage,
but they did not intake,
one hundred and forty characters
Is not enough to communicate
(chorus)
We waited till PAX,
Just like they said,
Was it the "real ending"?
No, something else instead.
(chorus)
Will the extended cut, be enough?
That I cannot say...
If we don't like it its tough...
And of bioware, I will have enough...
(Chorus)
So in summation of the situation,
I will leave bioware at the next station,
to find games anew,
their train of mass effect can continue to chu chu...
(Chorus)
But before that time
I think you will find,
we will continue to...
HOLD THE LINE!
peace out

yep the ending did indeed suck, it felt disjointed from the rest of the trillogy and for me it destroyed the replay value of all the M.E games. it has also took away any inclination to play mp that i had.

That's it. There is really nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said by me and hundreds of others on these forums. I am out of steam. The silence on Bioware's end is maddening and new things just keep popping up that are making me progressively bitter towards this game.
Perhaps I should just stop fighting. Bury my head in the sand until the EC comes out...

We can accomplish nothing at this point by ourselves. It's just up to Bioware to decide whether they really care about why we hate the ending.paxxton wrote...

On a personal level, I thought the whole game was quite bad and undeserving of the series, but I hope that a proper ending can at least lend replayability back to the first two games. Which the ending also killed.

What does any poster on any of BSNs boards hope to accomplish? Hopefully whatever they personaly set out to do, in this case its not a tool of pressure on bioware, its too late for that, and its not really what we did not like about the ending, thats been done too much, its general discusion about the ending and developments relating to that, and hopefully we can have less hugs and more topic this time.
