I hate the argument, "well it's FREE"... It being free doesn't make it good, or relevant, and it certainly doesn't negate the fact the game was rushed out the door for the biggest short term profit.

I just saw Michael Gamble's twitter where he says all the teams are involved when making mp dlc. Which I thought was funny, because they got so defensive when we asked if mp was taking resources away from sp, and they said it was a separate team doing mp. So which is it? A single separate team doing mp, or all the teams like Michael Gamble says.

It seems amazing that a single player rpg series is putting so much emphasis on mp now, I'm sure this is EA trying to prepare us for ME MMO, which will microtransact itself into oblivion.

I'm still waiting on the EC to decide on my relationship with BioWare in the future. I used the old thread to see if there was any news, it seems I'm unable to do that now. So I'll stick to this thread for a while, but post decidedly less.

That's funny indeed. Looks like BioWare have lost track of their lies.

It is, its almost "freemium" since grinding alone is not a surefire way to get the character and wepaons you want, so they know people will pay away for it. There is lots of things to hold the wallet for, From ashes if you did not buy it, all the crappy accessories/ hoodies and robot dogs and weapons for campaign ect ect. Even real life merchendise

Yep. And now it won't be so hard to "hold the wallet" anyway since ME interest/replayability has been destroyed. And the crucible lithograph that they are selling now is actually laughable. LOL

Judging by how Blizzard sets their times to the Pacific Standard Time being as they're in California, and from TOR's times being based in Central Standard Time as they're in Texas(?), I think we can assume Summer in the region that the developers are from.

I would like to call BS, especially on Blizz, for their launches being at 3am in EST where I dwell.

ok the fans OFFICAL REACTION TO MP is this

"MULTIPLAYER IS TOTAL AND UTTER COMPLETE RUBBISH AND DOES NOT BELONG IN A SINGLEPLAYER RPG GAME"

thats what EVERY SINGLE FAN IS SAYING

now the results of the multiplayer stats are a COMBINED total and is NOT a "UNIQE" total.

combined means that a single person logs in10 times means thats 10 added onto the total

uniqe means if a single person logs in 10 times its only added as ONCE and NOT 10

so the multiplayer stats cannot be trusted and they are not the real repirentation of the true numbers.

even then the totals are still REALLY LOW which does mean fans do not like the multiplayer for mass effect.

the game series was all about the single player mission, mass effect 2 was the LAST of TRUE singleplayer games.

i am sick to death of games that were ment to be singleplayer getting fubared around to add craptastic multiplayer.

the ENTIRE multiplayer thing should have been an extra to be sold or given away t the players choice and not FORCED APON US and to put the singleplayer mission requierments into multiplayer is a fubared idea, who ever thought of that should be shot.

because of the whole shiznit storm over the craptastic ending the forced multiplayer and then microtransactions of stuff thats crap and over priced mass effect 3 has won awards for being the WORST GAME EVER MADE.

biowares reputation was tarnished after the rush job on DA2 they then had a chance to redeem themselves with ME3 and they totally killed themself by screwing up a franchise so bad that there PARENT company offered FULL REFUNDS.

1. day 1 DLC which included ESSENTAL MISSIONS
2. A GENERIC NONSENSICLE MULTICOLOURED ENDING
3. TIED IN SINGLEPLAYER TO MULTIPLAYER
4. calling its customers "ENTITLED BRATS"
5. claiming "ARTIST INTEGRITY"
6. retconned a MAJOR PLOT

later on they redacted the artistic crap and then said "We did what we thought the fans wanted" when in fact they ignored out plea's

the origonal script was leaked and made MORE SENSE and was MUCH MORE liner and engrossing, after it was "leaked" they ripped out 1/2 the game and replaced it with craptastic multiplayer, removed missions that would have answered a TON of stuff and it even kept to its origonal plot.

yup bioware totally killed an ENTIRE FRANCHISE

BTW offiacal number of the sales of ios apps for mass effect, infiltrator dident sell many as it was over priced and could not run on certain apple products.
also the actual requierments for the android version was worse.
i have a HTC desire HD (Black Edtion) and it says that i do not meet the minimum requierments
i'm sorry 768meg of ram, a 1.3ghz cpu and a fairly good gpu on a SMARTPHONE not good enough requierments (btw it DOES have a 32gig card) the sales for the android version are WORSE.

yu people just use "other" means of getting games for smartphones without paying a penny.

yeah i'm ranting and i will rant untill i passout and sleep, i am sick of being screwed around with, sick of being screwed over and SICO OF BEING TREATED LIKE A FREAKING TEENAGER.

i tried to get the first kill over in this forum but he evaded my two attempts  lol

Jk I feel the same way. I feel cheated, I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to stay the **** away from ME3 it will ruin mass effect. Always being LIED to also video game companies it seems are so unprofessional and immature. Things from the false promises to exaggerated claims, false endings to tali's "face". Wtf is wrong with these people and why am I paying money for this crap.

Second. A thread with the single purpose of watching Bioware carefully for a promise made will tend to drift in absence of information from the other side. This should be taken into account.

Ahh a new one! The ending still sucks and if the E.C. doesn't fix it the game is ruined. I have bought almost every piece of dlc for M.E., M.E.2, DAO but if E.C. doesn't make sense of the ending then I won't be buying M.E.3 dlc. also I will never preorder another Bioware/EA game ever again.

I don't know, It bored the hell out of me after 3 weeks of playing. But the Multiplayer does not suck as much as the end.

Yea... The multiplayer is fine if you want un-ending horde mode... Its got no real objectives... Co-op campaign missions might be fun, but its still not worth playing, because of the ending...

It was pretty fun this weekend, because the last challenge was failed, banshee's appeared in every game, it was harrowing. I just think it's cool that our actions are actually affecting the game on a level like that.

I think the EC will be up to par. Bioware originally asked EA for 6 extra months and they only got 3, the EC should flesh things out nicely.

MP is nice TMH, but I paid 80 dollars for the single player story.

Which was incomplete, unbalanced and ultimately disappointing.

I do feel that the introduction of multiplayer did, ultimately, take away from what the single-player experience could have been (resources, manpower, creative energy, etc., not to mention the N7 single-player missions being repurposed for same), leaving it out altogether or making good on the promise of not having to play it to get the "best" ending wouldn't have made the one we got smell any less putrid.

Personally, I chalk it up to lack of time combined with unsupervised and unfettered whimsy on the part of whoever wrote that dreck.
