What Mages Should Look Like

They don't need no steeking exercise regime, they get all the exercise they need just going from their bedrooms to the main hall for breakfast. That also why the Templars are dormed on the top floor. They need to be sure their fitter and can run up more stairs if they need to chase down mages.

It looks hot, yet not scantily clad. That takes skill! The gal herself in the pic is hot too!
Note: I have no credit at all whatsoever for the making of the wallpaper that pic was cropped out of. If ya wanna see it in it's original form, (& maybe grab it) it's on Ragnarok Online's home site.
Not scantily clad? You've got to be kidding! The girl in that photo is all but showing her p****y, that skirt is so high! And she's all but exposing her breasts her top is cut so low! Puhleeze.
The true respected matron of the gaming female is that mentor woman from KOTOR 2. (Dang, I can't remember her name! What was it?)

Female mages? Probably have magically augmented breasts as well. Likely just as nerdy, with similar stereotypical ideals. You know where it goes from there.
In short, mages are sex gods all with the social skills of a 3rd grader. All hail the new master race.
Also, pointy hats are a necessity.

Not that this was even close to being their primary concern - they were just so pragmatic and jaded, they didn't leave anything they could change to their advantage up to chance.

Dear God no. Nothing worse then those gender ambigous character in JRPGs. Leave them out of WRPGs thank you.
I would personally like to see a darker edge to the mages clothing in DA, as of now they are quite colourful.

They could have great genetics (as much a chance as anyone else) but the chances of them working out; concerned with their muscle:fat ratio is more unlikely. Not necessarily fat, just lacking muscle.
And I highly doubt they'd be fashionistas, period. That made me cringe, not just impractical and there's no motivation why their fashion would steer that way, but...ew.and something like tights and high-heeled boots etc., for Males. Heh, heh.
Also, being magic doesn't automatically make one sexy, flamboyant or effeminate. That's not how personalities work.
*with a lisp* Oh yesth it doez you savage! :innocent:

Out of shape? Seriously, have you actually looked at the ceiling highs in those floors? Do you have *any* idea how many flights of stairs it is between each floor? Sheeesh, its got to be like 4 flights of stairs between each floor.

What we need is the short, portly mage, the downy, plain looking Enchantress with a nose complex, the tower 'bike' who is well, um, endowed but is rather skanky looking (being easy doesn't make you good-looking), the skinny guy who looks like he hasn't been near a window in years let alone been outside, etc.

I'm glad to see people are wanting to see more body shapes for mages but disappointed in that they are going in the usual direction of buffness (the short time I tried WoW the fact that all the men looked like Conan even the mages annoyed the hell out of me).

Clearly you have not played long enough to have encountered a Gnome.
You sir, have been lucky, do not tempt fate again..

A gnome?! In DA:O?! Never encountered one I believe, although that would explain the strange blood spatter on the underneath of my boot...
