Another nail in the coffin. And it proves, once more, that the PR department is still running the show.

Wow, you pretty much totally got this wrong.

PR are the people who WANT to announce dates. It behooves PR to be able to tell press or whomever that X is when you will learn things as it generates magzine or website news. E3 is a HUGE PR event (not only for BioWare and EA for all gaming).

If the Extended Cut was ready to have an annoucenement on a date or similar the PR team would likely want to announce, However, since the Extended Cut is not yet ready to be announced, there is no date for E3. It is that simple.

And your little "yes we are listening" thing... yeah. Awesome. This is exactly the sort of thing that makes us want to announce. "Why aren't the Devs telling us anything? Why have they stopped talking? Why are they ignoring us?" Gee... I wonder why?

And you wonder why the fans act this way.

Complaining on the forums everyday isn't going to make things easier, nor is it going to make the team work on the Extended Cut faster.

Hence, you guys should find something better to do with your time until there is an official announcement. Stop trolling Bioware employees for an announcement about the announcement concerning the official announcement.

Its about delivering what was promised. They did not do that.  If that hurts their feelings, well, I'm sorry.  That's not my problem.

lol ya. Bioware does like to lie  a lot. Its a shame. Now whenever they say anything ever, you have to assume they are lying. I remember back when bioware had respect for the fans.

Chris, I really do not envy your job. Trying to explain game development and marketing to people that think they are experts on how it should be done but have never done it themselves. Just know that the majority of people really appreciate what you and everyone else at Bioware do, and patiently wait for the excellent games and content that are released from what I consider to be still the best game developer out there, while we live our real lives that do not revolve around video games.

not necessarily. I garuntee you they will announce some kind of DLC for MP. Even if they dont, its only a matter of time until they do.

But I think you have to let it slide, because he added an exception that would keep him from ever being wrong (unless you really have no more multiplayer DLC planned).

You'll just have to make do with what you get now.

best game developer: Bioware
People who's lives do not revolve around video games: Me and most other people, but apparently not you.

My point is that I would act exactly the same, if not worse, than Chris if I was subjected to the constant, daily bombardment of abuse and pointless questions that he has to deal with.
