I have a computer with a small System disk and a much larger 'data' disk. When I install games, I put them on the data disk.
After system problems recently, the system was re-loaded and so I re-installed ME3, again. As far as I am aware I installed to the data disk. The game runs OK and I have managed to keep my saved games (see previous thread) but I now find that I have two copies of most of the game files installed.
The ones on my data disk are dated from the original install but I have found a second set of game files now on my sysytem disk with the recent re-install date.
Clearly, either I di not specify the data disk for installation the second time or the program chose not to overwrite the existing gasme files and then dedfaulted to the system drive.
I don't really wish to unpick what did happen but do wish to get rid og the game files on mt system disk. Can I simply delete these files? And, if not, what is the best way to have only one set of files?
Clearly I could delete all files and start again but I would rather avoid this if I can!
Can you help, please?
Thanks.
