1. screw you
2. I'm a regular gold player, I don't need silver. Why I'm pissed off is because they won't freaking answer me
3. I'm not mad about the credits, but the bioware points. It's the equivilent of stealing
4. Have you ever even had this happen to you? How many times?
5. Screw you again, and buzz off, you ignorant troll.
First, insults go nowhere, be the bigger man and avoid them.
Second, Bioware letting you paying real money for in-game items is the troll here. Bioware wins that.
Third, if you let the Bioware troll convince you to spend real money on in-game items and it failed once, it's ENTIRELY your fault if you attempted it again after not having a resolution or compensation from the first incident.
Lastly, this entire quote fest, belongs in another thread.
I actually only pay for the items because I'm too busy with college to spend time earning the money to get the stuff- I want to use the new stuff when it's new, not in a month when I have time to get the credits to get the stuff
and no, they ignore other threads. This one Chris has been paying attention to.

Since I installed the patch and the new multiplayer DLC on my PC the game itself will only start after like 2-3 attempts running the executable. Never had this problem before, anyone experiencing the same?
same issue here...
also found 2 new glitches (well for me they are new). twice when i entered a new game i was only the camera view.
the 1st time the camera was fixed on the ground and couldnt change the view but could move my toon but couldnt see much. the 2nd time my toon was fixed but the camera was like noclip mode i could fly all over the map...
real genius' they got working there.
luck you guys. I've had to deal with it since day 1

What complete and utter incompetence, releasing a patch that’s supposed to fix bugs and the bugs aren’t fixed.
TEST YOUR PATCHES FFS – somebody needs fired over this PLEASE – Hire people that can actually do their JOBS!
The people assigned the task of fixing these glitches should be ASHAMED.
It makes your entire company look terrible, and what’s worst is these glitches after the patch have not been quickly corrected. Any other company that made this HUGE of a mistake at least would have had the coders working on it ASAP and a new patch released hours after to ACTUALLY DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO, AND MAKE IT RIGHT!!
I think you should just calm down and recognize that they are working on things. In case you haven't noticed, every video game has multiple bugs or issues. Stop bashing the employees at BioWare and be more civil, would you? It's people like you who posted destructive criticism to BioWare over the ending of it. Grow up.
Don't bother, she/he is just a barrater.
They released a patch that was supposed to fix plethora of bugs and some of the bugs that have been in the game since release i.e vanguard glitch and broken ULM Mod for SMG. After the patch they are still not fixed and not a single goat dammed acknowledgment from a "dev" that they screwed up in QA or had someone programming after drinking a six pack. They should either fix the bugs they were supposed to fix with this patch or hire some competent programmers. With all this recession bull**** I am sure there will be plenty of programmers willing to join Bugware & Electronic Farts...
People calm down. This is software for a game not your bank or OS. Besides, you can do all the QAing you want but it is impossible to know AND test every possibility. Who is to say that there is not an underlying issue with something on your end that could be causing the patch to fail? Maybe part of your game is currupted?
As I tell my 2 year old when she acts out and throws a temper tantrum after I let her out of timeout: "It is okay to be upset and to get mad, but it is not okay to hit/yell & scream/etc." In the same turn, you are allowed to get upset over issues like this, it is actually understandable, but it is not okay for you to insult people.
While I would agree that NOO3TASTIC's name-calling isn't productive, the complaint is valid. I realise that QA can never be perfect. Having said that, Bioware, after remaining silent for 3 months despite numerous reports and complaints, finally announced that these really irritating and potentially game-breaking glitches were finally getting fixed.
Except they weren't. I'll give them the benifit of the doubt on the Vanguard glitch, despite that one being on my 1, 2, and 3 spot of top 3 glitches that needed to be fixed yesterday. It can be a pain to simulate the lag conditions necessary to trigger the glitch, so that would be hard to verify for QA.
But the ultralight materials? I'm sorry, but that is pathetically lazy. Apply ULM to a heavy smg, start game, use a power a few times, try to time it as best you can, or better yet, record the power cooldowns. Quit, repeat with same character and smg, but without ULM.
If you're going to report something as fixed after months of silence, you had darn well better have put in a reasonable amount of time and effort into confirming that it has in fact been fixed.
And yeah, this is a video game, and not baby heart monitor software or whatever. That's no excuse, especially since we paid for this product.
Worse, until Bioware actually acknowledges that their patch didn't fix what it said that it would fix, we have no idea if they know, let alone if and/or when they will ever care enough to fix them. Their silence sends a clear message: they don't particularly care about their product's quality, or about their most loyal paying customers.
I'm not a marketing type, but isn't that the sort of thing that you don't want to have assciated with your brand?

He/she is right to be annoyed. If Bioware chose to post a list of things that they claim have been fixed then there should have been testing to confirm the issues had actually been resolved. This is a fundamental part of bug fixing.
If they are "working on things" as you say then the bug fixes which have not yet been corrected should not be included in the list of issues they claim to have resolved in the 1.03 patch. I wouldn't go so far as to say people should be fired, but obviously the standards of testing (if indeed there were any) have been exceptionally low in this case.
First, I didn't say they are "working on things."
Second, she/he has not the least right to complain in such a manner.
You think that it is ok to insult Bioware employees?

What date does it say in my very first post?
Your post also says all of those changes were coming to the PC on the 29th, but that's very obviously not the case. You've even edited the patchnotes page to remove things like the SMG Ultralight Materials fix (which is in the first post of the thread), so maybe they're legitimately asking for clarification.

Um, yes, she/he does have every right to complain in such a manner.
Agent Who's post does not insult Bioware employees. No name calling, no denegration. It's a tad overboard, but it is valid and reasonable criticism. The people in charge of fixing technical issues are doing a pretty bad job.
If they were just slow, it would be forgivable to a point. Better to take their time and do it right, especially if the issues are complex (although this would require communication on what issues are being worked on and which ones are giving the team grief).
If they had just released a bugged patch that failed to fix things while possibly making them worse, that would also be forgivable. It happened with Skyrim. But again, the communication thing is key. Bethesda acknowledged the problem fairly quickly, and gave a rough time table of when to expect a new patch, with the usual disclaimers. And everything was fine.
But Bioware is both slow and guilty of releasing a bad patch. Not only that, but week after week after week, there are delays, glitches, and screwups, from the relocking kits issue back in the beginning of the multiplayer, to the constant delays in victory and commendation packs, to the online pass servers imploding a few weeks back.
It's getting to be a bit much.

Well, if Agent Who's statement is "valid and reasonable criticism" then I hope someone will criticize you in the same way rather soon. Both of you got a lot to learn about respect.

So please release a quick fix because I can't play. Or add an option to Origin to roll back to 1.02
