Sorry what is the reason that a Geth Prime or Banshee does not take Head shot damage? they have heads dont they? just to make them ever harder to kill??
Yeah, that's a bit harsh I think. I would suggest maybe making that a penalty for Gold missions, not on all difficulties. They can be hard enough on silver as it is. Though still, I dont really see the logic behind it. Same with the Atlas fix, bit unfair I think. But, just gotta suck it up I guess. Adapt and move on.

its because banshees and geth primes dont have to rely on haveing a brain. It works on other geth and reaper enemies because of the mass trauma that a headshot dilivers. But because banchees are so far in the reapers controal, and the geth pimes are so advanced, a brain is not necesarry for them and they can shrug off the trauma so a head shot dosn't bother them.
At least this is what I heard.

What complete and utter incompetence, releasing a patch that’s supposed to fix bugs and the bugs aren’t fixed.
TEST YOUR PATCHES FFS – somebody needs fired over this PLEASE – Hire people that can actually do their JOBS!
The people assigned the task of fixing these glitches should be ASHAMED.
It makes your entire company look terrible, and what’s worst is these glitches after the patch have not been quickly corrected. Any other company that made this HUGE of a mistake at least would have had the coders working on it ASAP and a new patch released hours after to ACTUALLY DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO, AND MAKE IT RIGHT!!
I think you should just calm down and recognize that they are working on things. In case you haven't noticed, every video game has multiple bugs or issues. Stop bashing the employees at BioWare and be more civil, would you? It's people like you who posted destructive criticism to BioWare over the ending of it. Grow up.
Don't bother, she/he is just a barrater.
He/she is right to be annoyed. If Bioware chose to post a list of things that they claim have been fixed then there should have been testing to confirm the issues had actually been resolved. This is a fundamental part of bug fixing.
If they are "working on things" as you say then the bug fixes which have not yet been corrected should not be included in the list of issues they claim to have resolved in the 1.03 patch. I wouldn't go so far as to say people should be fired, but obviously the standards of testing (if indeed there were any) have been exceptionally low in this case.
First, I didn't say they are "working on things."
Second, she/he has not the least right to complain in such a manner.
You think that it is ok to insult Bioware employees?
Let me make this easy for you to understand.
1.) "...and recognize that they are working on things."
2.) Every person that has paid money for a product has the right to complain if the product is faulty. When a company makes claims to have remedied those problems and they turn out to be false, the consumer again has a right to complain - even more so now as they have been lied to.
3.) Try reading his post again. He doesn't make any insults to Bioware employees. Do you really think the forums new rules of conduct would still allow Zaidra to be able to post here if he truly had insulted Bioware employees?

If you spent £40 on a meal and it wasn't perfect, you'd either let it go, or complain to the staff. You wouldn't - or at least, I wouldn't - repeatedly call the chef a stupid, lazy idiot and shout threats in his face even as he's trying to rectify the mistake. It would make you appear rude, childish and borderline unbalanced, and it would make the staff not want to help you in the first place. Just because you're on a busy forum and not in a busy restaurant doesn't give you the right to personally insult people who, at the end of the day, are just doing their jobs.
That's just my opinion, and no doubt an unpopular one, but I have as much right to express it as many of you think you have to hurl insults around. We don't have to be happy with what we have so far, but couldn't we at least be civil, and patient? I don't mind the endings, for example (I'm an Evangelion and Twin Peaks fan, for the record), but they do feel rushed and lack closure for the characters. BioWare are working on that - they're recording the voices and making the cutscenes now - so why complain about it in every thread? It won't make the work get done any faster.
That's my two pence in a bucket in the ocean!

Some of you people are so rude and childish, it depresses me a little. I realise it's rude and childish of me to make a post about it, but I've seen such concentrated cynicism and pugnacity recently that I will anyway. Sure, we all spent our hard-earned American dollars (or in my case, British pounds) on the game, and it isn't perfect, and we want it to be. It's our prerogative to ask for more. But the name-calling, the bitterness, the talk of "trust" and "betrayal"? These are things better reserved for best friends who sleep with your wife, not game designers.

I don't mean to troll but I get what you mean.
Though your food comparison... I don't buy a $60 game to eat, it lasts a life time

Love the above comment. Because it really reminds me of another EA published game that was horrendously filled with bugs both minor and gamebreaking. Gamebreaking as in - so bad that its either hardly playable or cannot be launched at all.
Not sure if MP components are harder to code or harder for QA to catch. But similarities on the lack of thorough testing is starting to show.

I agree! I only used the meal metaphor to illustrate the abuse of staff in an easy way, but you could say the same for any service for which you've paid. Being sent a faulty or incorrect item by an eBay seller, for instance. It happened to me recently. I sent him a polite e-mail and he apologised and sorted it out as quickly as he could. If I'd insulted him and nagged him constantly he might not have been so helpful.

If this was the end of March and/or the only serious issues encountered the reaction would be totally OTT - unfortunately.....

Geth Prime heads even explode so I think that proves it should hurt.
I just hate it (not because of the difficulty raise) because it takes away skill. Instead of being rewarded for lining up a shot you just tediously thunk bullets into anywhere and kite. Guess it won't affect Adepts who will just mindlessly mash warp/throw all the same. (No offense Adepts)

Whilst in some ways I agree with the argument you are advancing if your Ebay seller hadn't done anything about the issue for 3 months you'd be getting a little tetchy yes?

But just as a £40 meal and a £40 game aren't the same, neither is the time it takes to correct the two problems. The seller put a new item in the post. Concerning the ending, which is my only real gripe in a huge and (in my opinion) excellently-made game, BioWare must script new dialogue, rehire all the voice actors, make new cutscenes, stick it all together and get it through certification for three platforms. it'll be done when it's done but these things take time and money.
And to restate my original point, I still don't believe there's any call for slinging insults around. If my eBay seller had taken three months to sort out the problem, I'd have been annoyed, but still wouldn't resort to name-calling. I don't want to drag this thread off track so I'll leave it there. I just don't think there's ever a justification for talking to someone with as much vitriol and disrespect as some people here do to BioWare, unless they have seriously wronged you, your friends or your family... and the last five minutes of a video game don't (or shouldn't) count.

After the latest DLC it happens almost every match. Hope the patch (memory leak fix) solves this.
99% chance it doesn't.

I know there was a small update, but I have a feeling that wasn't the patch, few reasons.
1. They said it would arrive thursday, pc tuesday xbox/ps3 thursday. I know it's thursday in most of the world but it's only early morning at bioware headquarters, it takes them a while to get it out, like with the dlc I'm guessing it would arrive the day after for most of the world.
2. The update, (at least the one I got on xbox) was 5mgb, the patch seems quite large so I'm guessing it would be a bit bigger than that, the only thing I've noticed changed is the packs now say 'chance to contain rebellion gear.'
3. Well, I've noticed a lot of the bugs are still there, now I'm just going to trust bioware and hope this a giveaway that the patch hasn't hit xbox yet.
I hope this is the case, I quite like my vanguard.
