RIP Kishock, you will be remembered as a fun weapon, just like the pre-nerf Falcon.

Graaaaaal.  Weighs the same.  Kills 3 Phantoms instead of just one.

I suspect we'll see some balance changes relating to this patch, maybe for atlas/prime health and perhaps for SMG weight (I interpreted the weight reduction they got as a compensation for ULM not working). Perhaps the Kishock will get a damage boost or another bonus of some kind.

Yea, Graal is even better. BUT with Kishok you get to have a better look at the harpoon sticking out of biatch's head.

I thought the bug was actually enemies with 'heads' not taking head shot dmg, like banshee and brute, rather than the other way around. seems like the changes make sniper rifles less powerful and shotguns more useful. the other weapons are still crap though. if anything the claymore/gps should be brought down dmg wise since they did a big crap on snipers.

now that the falcon works properly according to the patch, I wonder if the scorpion does too? it might actually be useful.

I didn't even know that was the case, so my opinion hasn't changed.

In other words, still like that gun.

Question. What do you define as skill in the Multiplayer setting?

Oh look it's one of these guys.  Yeah, this totally requires no skill and everyone can do it.

no one cares.

why'd you post that?

It's not even GP's video. You can tell because it's of quality  No offense Godless.
Actions speak louder than words to the question "what is skill?"

Can't say I like the kishock nerf or the geth prime buff.

Happy about most of the other fixes though. I hope the falcon fix actually works.

I was trying out my level X Harpoon Gun yesterday. I can't believe people actually like this worthless POS.

I will miss you mighty kishok.
You will need a ~20% damage buff before I would consider using you once again =(

It was a decent choice if you had the skill to quickly and reliably headshot brutes, banshees, et cetera with it.

Now it's just garbage.

I think it was merely "Useful" when it could headshot special targets.

It had almost no versatility compared to my Javelin since it needed a whole extra second to charge and uncloaks before you are done charging it so you need to charge, then cloak, which is tedious.

It will still be a very good weapon with the Quarian Infiltrator vs. Cerberus. Especially now, that they fixed the atlas canopy thing, and piercing snipers won't have the edge they used to have against the mech.

And some fun facts about the Kishok wielding (and Sabotage spamming) Quarian.

- Claok -> Sabotage = dead Trooper
- Cloak -> Sabotage -> (uncharged) body shot = dead Centurion, dead Nemesis, dead Engineer
- Claok -> (uncharged) body shot = dead Guardian (shot through the shield)
- Cloak -> (fully charged) body shot -> Sabotage = dead Phantom
- Cloak -> headshot = oneshots everything short of Atlas mechs and Turrets
With no equipment required.

I never managed to headshot targets anyway. I use it because its a good weapon againts normal enemies and still does plenty enough damage againts brutes and ravangers for me.

Plus it instakils guardians right through the shield, it's more than made up for it's shortcomings.

you can get 2 kishok harpoons out in a cloak.
3 if you charge then cloak for the first harpoon.

javelin cant do that.
huge limiting factor, kishok has much better dps because of this.

Every heavy sniper will do this.  Including the black widow.

Yes, just because it lost the niche which made it useful.

Doing 1 bar of shield gate isn't particularly scary. See: Wraith X

Primes need to be as scary as any other faction's 100 unit. Now they are... almost. Seems turrets still don't work.
