Bounty Hunter was possibly the only saving grace for my GameCube. If that didn't exist, that box of turds would have been off a cliff.

In the name of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, how dare you say such a thing! :P

If you never played this truly hidden gem of a game, you missed out!

It will not be Battlefront 3

It will not be KOTOR 3

It will just be more pointless Kinect/PS Move crap

I just know this.

I sense a disturbance in the Force.

Another crappy game is coming...

I secretly hope like an idiot for a new "Tie Fighter, X Wing" game but a fool's hope :crying:

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Listen, ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a good blaster at your side.

You have learned much, young one.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force... as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced

- E3 Leaked info. Points to...

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures (PC).

I swear to god if this is another big chinned adventure starring Anikunt and his band of merry f*gs, I'll go postal.

EDIT: But the SPIKE info is still a mystery. This is apparently the only StarWars IP being shown. At E3

I'm not getting my hopes up. The last good Star Wars game I played was KOTOR.

@_@ That seems to be all Starwars is now. For the Kids should be the battle cry of Lucas.

Its just sad how ignorant of his own fanbase the man is. I'ld say 80% of the products and games sold are bought by people older than 20 in most cases.

Its a bounty hunter game with a really bad title.

Behold Star Wars 1313 (?!?)

"New third-person action adventure franchise set in the Star Wars universe; players to control bounty hunter in criminal underworld beneath Coruscant; no platforms announced; more details at E3 2012."

Thanks for the link. Even though I'm skeptical about the concept I have to admit there's potential. Saddened that they had to use Episode 2 for a context. We KNOW what the conspiracy is.

Would've prefered more of an RPG side to this with profiteering, gun/spice trading, gang wars, etc. Saints Row: Underground Coruscant?

Just saw the a preview of this game on Gametrailers TV. No gameplay trailer yet, just an extended tour by Geoff Keighley of Lucasarts' facility in San Francisco, along with interviews with the staff and that the game will feature mocap technology used by ILM in The Avengers.

But I pretty much tuned off when they said 'bounty hunter' and 'mature'. I do not want a freaking bounty hunter game set on Coruscant, nor do I want half baked mature themes that do not belong in the Star Wars universe. Might be skipping this game, but I'll take a look at the gameplay trailer on E3 and we'll see.

Apparently, this will be a "mature" game...
Yea, really curious to see how that turns out. Forgive me if I laugh of the idea :P. I hope that's what they do.

A bit of a stab in the dark here, but 1313 most likely just means that it will be released in 2013. Other than that... no idea whatsoever. Now I'm starting to get excited.

If its a bountyhunter game chances are it will be about the Other Fett.

Boba Fett, and if so, with that huge fan base and his general cult like popularity I'm sure they'll do the game justice, if not it'll make the time they killed Chewie off (when fans sent in death threats and dead animals and the FBI had to do protection sercives a few days) look like a joke.

But honestly if it is  Bounty Hunter Boba Fett, so buying it.

Oh god...Chewin3 that reminds me with the whole clone wars cartoon craze and Lucas always selling to kids...plus his hate for Boba, I suspect if it is a Bounty hunter game it will be that Stupid Cad Bane....yep don't care to buy it if so.

If we can shift between 4 different bounty hunters (including Fett and Bane) at the beginning of every mission it will be good enough to play.

---------------

I still don't know which kind of News is this SW game.

Yeah I'm actually really excited for this. Star Wars Bounty Hunter on the PS2 is one of my favorite games, and this is sounding a lot like a current gen retake on that kind of idea. Do want.

Star Wars 1313, and it just might be the game that gets me interested in Star Wars again. Details are very, very scant, and we’ll be waiting for E3 for any kind of blockbuster reveals, but here’s what we know so far: it’s a third-person action adventure game where you play a bounty hunter that makes his kills with gadgets and weapons rather than any “force nonsense.” People have speculated that it might star Boba Fett, and this has neither been confirmed nor denied.

'Dishonored' Trailer Shows Us The Most Promising Game of E3

And, most interestingly, it’s shooting for an “M” rating, according to Kotaku.

Star Wars has always been a clean world. The original, kid-friendly movies have set the tone for an entire universe that rarely strays too far from the PG-13 – sex is mostly represented through innuendo, laser weapons make blood a rare occurrence, morality is always binary, and so forth.

Which makes 1313’s decision to go for M exciting. Jedi are cool, don’t get me wrong. They move stuff with their minds and have lightsabers – these are things I can get behind. But the mythic, spiritual soldiers at the center of the Star Wars universe never interested me as much as the dirtier elements around the outside – smugglers, bounty hunters, crime lords, gas miners and the like.

Could this be the game that shows us the nastier gray areas in between the red and blue that define the Star Wars universe? Maybe in addition to blasters, the bounty hunter will slip good old-fashioned knives and fists into the mix somewhere.

Star Wars has built a world and a franchise on approachability and openness to fans of all ages. That’s a wonderful thing. But Lucas was also one of the first people to play with the idea of “used future –“ the idea that even in the future, stuff was just as grimy as it is in the present. Star Wars is a broad franchise established across so many books, movies, TV shows and games that it’s impossible to keep track – with all that room to play, I’m glad to see someone is finally upping the grit a little bit on these titles.

I'm slightly curious at what the dev's at Bioware think behind this move. This game says it's going to be gritty, with more violence and mature themed also a third person shooter. Since Bioware is still trying get their MMO off the ground.

Meanwhile they have this hot new title. People naturally will compare it to TOR MMO, even though they are separate in nearly almost every single aspect. This doesn't look like typical boring Bounty Hunter.

At the same time, it doesn't look that interactive where you can pick the outcome. I think this game will be different from their games in the past. I think mature themed gave that signal. Only wondering if it will be collecting dust next to the million other games or actually fun.

Hopefully it doesn't become another "The Force Unleashed"; a nice idea that ultimately failed horribly.
