There has been a bit of confusion over the date/times of Operation Shieldwall.
Contrary to what was original posted and what I had mention in an earlier thread, the final decision from the brass is that Operation Shieldwall extended right through until 0500 (5AM) this morning Mountain time.
So, all promotion tallies will be taken from data covered from 1700 (5PM) , 25 May 2012 through to 0500 (5AM), 28 May 2012. All times mountain.
Cheers!
Errrr.... I'm from Europe (UK)... What the hell is Mountain time compared to BST/GMT/UTC etc... I think a pretty easy thing to change is when posting these updates would be to just add in the other major time zones and people can work from there.
Say when it starts in West Coast USA, East Coast USA, Europe and Asia (No idea if Asia has a time like Europe does). Looking at this update, I did my three characters when I received the Operation Shield Wall notification ingame, which was at about 10PM UK Time... I'm guessing that means my 3 characters were from an hour too early to receive data. I'll be pretty annoyed if this is the case...

Unlikely. There's been a lot of problems in the past, and if they announce a certain time and these problems come up again, it's just more egg on their face. And they're releasing a DLC on top of it.

The hilarity if an operation at most spanned only 24 hours. For those whom the set timezone is not favourable they'll be playing Operation: Insomnia instead.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering, because I know that I promoted my last character sometime around 7, not like an hour later, but right around 7, maybe a few minutes later or earlier, damnit, now I don't know if I made it!BoomDynamite wrote...
Wait, it ended @ 7 am EST? That means I missed my third promotion by an hour...

Haha, ok folks,
I'll take this one on the chin *leads with his face*.
Here in our office we speak in terms of mountain time (high-five's Alberta, Colorado and other mountain time players).
That's my bad. I hope this completes the clarity thread.
Official announcements will remain in the Pacific time zone however.
Thanks for bearing with me.
Cheers!

I agree. Literally every time, so an op might go from 5pm PST on Friday to 12pm GMT Monday. The "When does this thing start/end?" threads would be hilarious!

I didn't get home until after the original end time last night, so I didn't even bother trying to get the rest of my promotions in. If I had known about the extension, I would've played into the night to get them.
