Here's a dubstep track I've made a few months ago, right before ME3 was out.
I used reapers, husks and other environmental sounds I've recorded from mass effect 1 & 2, hope you'll enojoy it.

please feel free to comment, share and explore my soundcloud page.

thanks in advance :D

I like the track, not in the last place because of the Shepard speech at the end.

You do not, by any chance, have a version with a Femshep saying the same few lines?

I'm really, really not a fan of dubstep music, but Reaper dubstep had to happen and it's awesome :D

Diggin' the Blade Runner mix as well. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Beautiful. Amazing. Practically transcendental. Love it.

Please make more.

Only thing I'd ask if it's possible to get this soundtrack without the dialogue. Of course, you're the artist, and if that was your vision, that's cool too.

that's pretty funny to be actually called "the artist" :P and I don't mean it in any bad way, it's just.. I don't know.. just me.. :)
anyway I suppose I could edit the final dialogue away or just replace it with a femshep one and make a slightly different version just by editing the Fruity Loops project.. (also I could use that chance to improve the mix a little because the whole song was kinda rushed in a couple of days since it wasn't supposed to be anything "professional") so yeah, I think I can do that, I'll post new versions in this thread.
Also: thank you AkodoRyu for checking out my other stuff and all of you for your comments, this really works as a motivation boost :)

Dubstep is a genre of music I don't think I'll ever really "get". That being said, love this. Good job :-)

Dubstep is still interpretive as what actually makes it dubstep,  and it's like a fancy wine - it's an acquired taste. I absolutely hated dubstep when it was introduced to the world, but now that the subgenre has matured a bit, I'm starting to hear some really great stuff (Knife Party, anyone?)

That said, this is extremely ambient for dubstep.

well I'm not the biggest dubstep fan myself and not the youngest person around here either for sure. in my humble opinion what qualies dubstep as such are some key elements like the wobble bass, the presence of evolving distorted sound (reapers were perfect :P), a slow hard beat and the use of breakdown/drop (call it as you prefer).
what lacks in general is the presence of a noticeable melody that can make a certain song stick into your head.. this is basically the main element I'm trying to fill in in my "dubstep" tracks.

So, what about a version with the female Shepard saying the same lines at the end?

Downloaded the MP3, but I've only ever played with Femshep, so it feels weird somehow..

Good track overall, OP. It could use some more timbral dinamism on the bass, I think.

Also, my unavoidable nit-picking correction: Knife Party is certainly experimenting on the genre, but don't forget they consider themselves just as Electro. (Not that genres are THAT important either. I like to consider each great artist as a genre on their own.)

Awesome track, but I second the request for a femshep version!
