The intro, as many people said, just sucks in dialogue.

Oh and "They're just working for the Reapers!" in regards to Shepard learning about what the Collectors are. :| Damn Shepard, can you be anymore retarded?

That's introducing a new, stranger Shepard, unaware of reapers threat, incapable to find a solution, waiting for others to tell him what to do.
A stupid soldier, a mere subordinate taking orders from Hackett, unable to make decisions and not fulfilling his promises.

Doesn't Lorik comment on this "hate justice line"? Something like "What kind of insane troll logic is this?"

For me, the worst line was "We fight or we die". 
There was also the line in the trailer, "Each of you must be willing to die! Anything less... and you're already dead". It actually makes sense in the game ("...willing to die to save the day!"), but it sounded horrible then.

The worst line of the entire series is one uttered by Shepard in Mass Effect 1 if you choose to have him express suprise that two Asari could have a child together, when Liara reveals that she is a pureblood.

Shepard says something like, "Wait...I thought you needed an alien partner to produce children?"

It is the stupidest line uttered by any character in the entire series. Poor Liara then has to explain to Commander Moron, that the Asari would have long ago went extinct if they couldn't reproduce with other Asari.
