So afk strategy will change slightly. Leechers will now die and walk away.spaceling wrote...

If youre dead and idle for 1:50 then idle for 0:10 after next wave starts what happens then?
Pretty sure you are "okay" if you are dead.

On harder difficulties on later waves, sometimes people get unlucky and killed by a banshee or phantom at the beginning of the wave. The remainder of the wave can sometimes lost way longer then two minutes... We won't get booted for being dead will we?
Havn't read if there have been any responses, but usually I'm using my mouse, at least in this situation, just observing, or making sure team-mates aren't getting snuck up on by something. Won't this count as activity?

Was excited about the AFK-function, til I read this memo. Damn!

2 minutes? Does this mean I have to equip a tube to my body if I need to relieve myself so I can stay in a public game. o.0
Or use a pierced chair if really you can't control: pierced chair, drinks with emergency induction port in and eating only dried food or anything you can eat and not grease your hands on...

True. Just like kicking. Some may argue that this can be abused, but I think kicking is not that much differenent.

The only good way to deal with AFKers is enabling friendly fire after two minutes on the player. Now that would vent some frustrationI can't tell you how many clips I've emptied on AFKers
YES! Oh that would be cool. And gain xp on them and.. and.. could we LOOT them???

So what about lobbies that started out as private but were turned to publc to get more players, does that count as a priivate or public lobby?

Face it, leechers are there, sitting, waiting, watching. They are intelligent enough to move around a tiny bit to not get kicked.
Guy who ran in the small 20 second rest period in a wave to take a dump or ****** and was planning to come back and continue playing as a team?
Kicked

An average match lasts from 18 to 24 minutes — give or take a few minutes — so I'd feel much more comfortable if the grace period was 3- to 4-minutes instead of 2 minutes.
And, as others have pointed out, sometimes Mother Nature will not be denied the commode.

Since the game doesnt have some kind of a "half-time" or pause or anything, its pretty much disregarding the fact that people have real lives, and s*** happens. Phonecall? Need to take your dog out to do it's business? doorbell? LOL KICKED FOR BEING AFK FOR 120 SECONDS
I was nearly finished a silver, and My dog woke up, I went to take her out, came back and I was autokicked and lost everything. needless to say I'm pretty disgusted

There should be a voting system, but make it so you can vote to kick the lowest level player after a certain amount of inactivity.

2 Minutes? I really am grateful you put in this timer, but I thought the company name was BioWare, not No-one-is-allowed-to-go-to-the-bathroomWare.
That joke sounded like it was in bad taste. And it was also awful. I feel ashamed, honestly.
yes its called bioware but not lets step away from the game while in actionware.

nope it would be exploited heavliy
i think the 2 minute timer needs to be lessened and if rubber banding a controller means what i think it means then they can just change that to if you make no other action after prior action was completed i.e rubber bands wouldn't work in the case due you are only doing 1 action like running in circles or moving or something to that degree in the same location i would think that they would also look for active pressing on the buttons and by the way it dont count if you die and take 2 mins finish the round after you bled out it wont kick you since the camera automatically goes to the person and of course you will use the time to check on what ever you need to do but remeber human nature will make you jup around on to other people to warn them so dont worry about that

What about leeachers who are going to just move every 1 min or so, or use elastic bands so there constantly moving but dont have to play, I see this as... problematic.
They did the same thing in WoW, their is no perfect solution. Personally I think 2 minutes is to long, no activity for 60 seconds and it should toss them.
Bathroom is a poor excuse, go before you queue and if it's that bad exit the game.

I'd rather have a system that prompts players (after 2 minutes) if they WANT to kick the AFKer or not.
