Yea now if only it booted them when they just afk and have a piece of tap on the crontroller making the screen spin ........
Also I feel the 2 minute thing is a tad short. What if I have to run and go pee near the beggining like between waves 3/4 ...... I'm sure running to the bathroom, peeing, washing my hands and then running back to my console takes me more than 2 minutes .....
I'm expecting a thread now measuring pee times. Stopwatch at the ready?...

Considering I'm downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs .... about 5 seconds to get up and reach my door 2 seconds to open the door about 40 seconds to get to the bathrrom 3 seconds to close the door .... Yea you can see where this is going ....FistOfSyn wrote...
Why are people acting like 2 minutes is too short?
It's fine.. It really takes you MORE than 2 minutes to pee and wash your hands..?

Have you ever heard of sudden urge? I can be sitting here just fine then the match starts and suddenly he 5 coca~cola drinks I drank suddenly go to my bladder and are like, "Yo! Go ******!"TheJester000 wrote...
Why the hell do so many people join a game knowing they have to pee? Try peeing before starting the game and if you have to go half way into it, hold it for ten minutes. Geez, if you have to pee so suddenly and can't hold it that long, put down the controller and go to the hospital because you have a serious problem and videogames are the least of your worries.

It's unhealthy to hold your bladder.
Overall this system is O.K. but not great. Having it removed from private matches is a good call. Friends are more forgiving because generally you tell them when you need to step away and when you'll be back and you in turn know if they can handle it without you. However, it would have likely been a better design choice to have the host be able to select/deselect this option with it enabled by default.

I have to make sure to be fast on my pee breaks now then!

I have been to the hospital many many times, there is nothing they can do about it.
So my only options are to go to the bathroom and pee or pee myself.
What is your suggestion now then?

WoW style. Have the bowl ready when you have to $h** and the Mtn dew and Pizza rolls when you're hungry.

On harder difficulties on later waves, sometimes people get unlucky and killed by a banshee or phantom at the beginning of the wave. The remainder of the wave can sometimes lost way longer then two minutes... We won't get booted for being dead will we?
when you dead you should watch back of teammates and move your mouse to see whats behind him [hope that counts as activity]
another thing is that i prefer leechers than quiters at least they draw fire

This is terrible. I'd rather deal with the leechers, considering I only run into one perhaps 1 in every 20 games. How about you guys re-evaluate? Give the time 5 minutes. That's much more reasonable.

Quitters open a play slot that fill get assigned to anothe rplayer so quitters > leechers.
You are right, being dead doesn't make you useless. I will always call out threats to those still fighting if I see something sneaking up behind them.

Two minutes? That's awfully short... Only one round on silver, most of the time. Not even a full round on gold. What about emergencies? Or the bathroom? Jeez.

WTF are you doing during a match for 2 minutes you can't move the controller? Do you people have the bladders of a hamster you can't hold it? I'd hate to take a roadtrip with the whiners on this thread.
If you have an emegerency then you won't be rejoining after 2 minutes since nothing that is an emergency takes 5 minutes.

Two minutes. I imagine farmers sit crouched behind their counter for that long waiting for the enemies sometimes, haha. Anyway: This is a most welcome addition.
Are you actually being serious with this post?

Maybe like they said they're going to the bathroom?
Not everyone is as fast as you or other people. As I know it definately takes me around 2-4 minutes to phyiscally get up, go to the bathroom, wash my hands, and come back. God forbid those who live with a bathroom that is a long distance in their house, or god forbid those who play this game while sick and there-for have a random bowel attack. God-forbid you just leave for a minute or two in a match and lose everything because of it.
So yes, expect people to hold in their bowels for the sake of a game. That's the kind of healthy behavior we want to promote. It also shows you expect people to have the same bowel strengh or tolerance as you do.
They don't

Perhaps some leechers are too lazy to think about a workaround for a minute.
I would rather introduce a report system. There are rarely 2 leechers in a match (3 leechers make it a solo run, so leechers getting money is unlikely) so the 3 remaining players can report the leecher and admins would look on the report (points and so on) and decide if they want to give him a 1 day ban or sth (perhaps a weekend ban).

My only concern is if this doesn't work in spectator mode. If it doesn't effect spectator, the leecher will just place themselves near a spawn point and die every wave.
And yeah, a system like this will discourage leechers, but it'd also only take me 2 minutes to write a script in autohotkey to circumvent it. However, at least bioware is trying. I still think a in match kick mechanic would be better though. I'm also glad to see that this doesn't effect private matches.

Or maybe they expect sick people to take their medicine and stay in bed, not play video games. Or expect people to take a dump between games, not between waves.

A lot of the time sick people have to have a way to pass the time. Besides that, you come and tell me to take a dump inbetween games when you have to go, in the middle of a game.
