Just a quick question, i didnt quite get a good answer looking info up on google.

I played Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 already.

I decided to play Mass Effect 1 over again, and i beat it.

Now i want to play Mass Effect 2 again
______

My question is: What do i import? My new Mass Effect 1 character (its sorta obvious)?
But will it count as a 2nd playthrough for Mass Effect 2?
Or will  just be another 1st playthrough? I want to get the bonuses and Achievements from the second mass effect playthrough.

So what do i do?

My curent options when opening Mass Effect 2 are: Male/Female/Import ME1 Character/Import ME2 Character

Again i played ME1 second time recently, want to play ME2 second time with ME1 new save, but want to get ME2 second playthrough achievement and weapons stuff.

What do i do?




SPECIAL NOTE: THE GAME WILL RECOGNIZE YOU PLAYING A SECOND TIME THROUGH, SO JUST IMPORT YOUR MASS EFFECT 1 CHARACTER IF YOU PLAYED ME1 AGAIN AFTER PLAYING MASS EFFECT 2

SO IMPORTING YOUR NEW MASS EFFECT 1 CHARACTER IS SAFE, THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT YOU MUST START ALL RANKS AND LEVELS AS WELL AS WEAPONS OVER AGAIN, BECAUSE OF THE FRESH REPLAY.

SOLUTION TO THIS IS: PLAY MASS EFFECT 2 AGAIN IF YOU WISH TO RUN AROUND "MURKING ALL PEOPLE WITH KEWL GUNS" BEFORE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GET THEM.
