No.

Stop thinking that everyone is Bisexual.

They are not.

It's not a choice to be anything. You are the way you are.

Honestly, no. If they weren't bi from the start, they shouldn't suddenly become bi.

I don't think everyone is bi I just think making a bunch of video game characters bi to please female Shepard's who want to romance Tali wouldn't do any harm.

Tali don't swing that way.

I think the characters should have a definite orientation - gay, straight, bi. Yes, it does mean that it limits everyone's options because there will necessarily be a limited set of options for each orientation, but I think the character writing will be stronger without them trying to write characters to please two or three orientations at once depending on how the PC wants the NPC to play out.

What about pansexuality?

Kaidan seems to be one. More is better in my book.

Yes. This is a game, not real life, limitations suck, more so when you have to put up with horrible va to romance a certain lady.

This. Videogames are not reality, they're made to escape reality.

Yes, it's a game, and having options available to everyone is only fair. The characters sexuality is only what it is written to be, and has no bearing on anything outside that playthrough, and only has any real relevency to the character if it's brought up.

Even if it is brought up as part of that characters plot, it doesn't matter in the slightest beyond requiring an extra line of dialogue to explain bisexuality for that playthrough compared to one for anShepard of the opposite gender. Steve Cortez would have been no less an excellent character or romance option for being involved with Femshep, nor would Tali, or Thane with Maleshep.

The Romances exist to give emotional satisfaction to the player. If the characters only traits and dialogue subject was their sexuality, then a romance counter to their constant singular obsession would seem out of place. Since all romanceable characters instead have depth and content focusing on satisfying a desire of the player to see a happy emotional connection with their game avatar and that character, then I see no reason as to why meta gaming should have to curtail choice.

Seriously, why is it so hard to accept the idea that the same character can be gay in one universe, straight in another, or bisexual in a third? We're fine with that being 100% true for SHEPARD, why not any other character I the ME universe?

As I said in the comments on the poll, while I don't necessarily think all LIs should be bi, it would be cool to at least try to pick them up, if you wanted to. At least give the players the option to try, it was interesting to see broshep get shot down by Traynor during the chess scene.

No.

I really liked Traynor and being rejected to by her...... that adds some incertainty and variability to the game, I preffer that to "all Access"

Get thee to a (preferred sexual orientation) porn site. One of the worst things that PanderWare™ have done over the years is get themselves pigeonholed into the role of puerile romance sim developers. *puke*

It adds to their character that some dont swing both ways. If Ash suddenly became a lesbian it would break immersion and remind me that this is a game where the characters are preset to be whatever I want rather than them holding fast to their own personalities.

kaiden always seemed to lean a little gay on the other hand.

Pretty much this. Making all the characters suddenly go bisexual would be a character assassination on a huge scale.

Kaidan going gay whilst Ash didn't always seemed odd to me.

They wouldn't be bi, they'd just have a fetish for video game main characters. Just ask the cast of DA2.
You can get all the men and women you want if you're the protagonist, apparently.

No! That is unrealistic. Some people are straight and some are gay. It's not fair to say you can "turn" a person either way. It's also ignorant too. Strongly against.

Right! Because romantic attraction is non-existant in this world.

Tali is actually a terrible example. She already finds both male Shepard and Garrus attractive, and there's far less of a difference between a male and female human and a male human and a metal skinned spike space raptor. Never mind the fact that if your dating outside your species, having similar genitals is really not the biggest hurdle to finding the other person shagable.

If she's that indifferent to appearence and cares primarily about the person, not the species, then there's just no reason she wouldn't want Femshep as much as Maleshep.

'Romantic attraction' is not necessarily the same as 'sexual interest'.

No no NO! The a great deal of what makes ME great is the characters. If we start playing with who they are, what they like, and what they believe so that they fit perfectly into every role anyone could want in any play-through, then they may as well just strip them of any personality they may have to begin with. It completely ruins the immersion when you have people changing who they are, which is what would happen if the characters changed their sexual orientation based on Shepard's gender, or when you have all of them possessing the same, unlikely, sexual orientation. The odds of that happening are so remote it is for all intents and purposes, impossible.
