My Sheps are typically Spacers. Anderson is regarded as a mentor and Chakwas as an aunt.

Yeah this is more accurate. Chakwas getting drunk with Shepard isn't something I associate with a mother figure.

Anderson was a mentor, and maybe a father figure. Lol, Chakwas was not a mother figure, and just furhers my desire to see a mature woman as an LI.

Anderson is definitely my Shepard's father figure. Chakwas, not so much...she's always going on about how everyone can always lean on Shepard when they need to. It feels to me like she's always seeking support instead of giving it like a mother figure might do. Which isn't to say that I dislike her or that she's incorrect...just the vibe I get from her.

I've always looked to Samara as more of a mother figure, especially for my "canon" Earthborn Shep who never really had one before. She's very wise and maternal, offering a kind of stability that I definitely associate with a mother figure.

This, he's a father/mentor figure to my canon Shep [who is Earthborn].
