The title says everything you need to know, here are some tweets to clarify from Mr. Priestly.

People keep asking me, so to be clear: No, there will be no ME3 Extended Cut preview, video, announce, etc at E3.

Read the Tweet here.

And this:

The ME3 team is still working hard on the EC. We have no further news and won't be rushing it or announcements on it.

Read the Tweet here.

Don't be so forlorn it's just the payoff, the rain before the storm.

...So how many Multiplayer DLCs until we DO see something? :| I have the feeling they're barely working on the EC at all.

I thought EC was only supposed to be a couple minutes of cutscene.

They haven't really shown that they're working on it. A deep part of me is afraid they only announced the EC to calm us, but in reality they're not really working on it and might never release it.

As I said weeks ago, it isn't going to just be a few minutes of cut scenes.....

That hopefully means it will be the rumoured September release then. Which means we're hopefully looking at Project Overlord/LOTSB volumes of content, which can obviously only be a good thing.

Maybe, assuming Bioware actually get how badly they screwed up, we'll even get IT bolted on and a whole new proper ending instead of polishing the turd of an ending we have now. I mean, sure, we won't, but one can dream of ME actually getting the send off it deserves.

Interesting. Either their still deep in production (meaning it might be relatively comprehensive) or they simply do not wish to throw anything out for public consumption anymore.

I never expected it to be announced. I am more interested in any other SP DLC's. Come on Omega!

I didn't really expect anything about it at E3. It's not really something that they would want to bring up at the show since such things are usually about trying to promote something with a general feeling of excitement and hype. Considering the amount of outcry it took for them to even acknowledge that there was an issue, the EC just wasn't going to be there.

We won't hear anything until right before it comes out, and we certainly won't see anything until it is available.

The thing is, if they release too much, we may have some riots.

Releasing bits here and there, like that VA are returning will be the proper way to do this.

Last I saw was that they were still doing voice work.

Unless it is from Casey Hudson, I am not listening.

While i am pretty pessimistic about the results of it all, i am sure that people accept that Bioware has all the time it needs to try and fix it and there is no rush.
After all, in the worse case of it all being just a stalling technique to reduce the number and vocality of the fans, they could not drag it all the way to DA3 release.

Bioware is a singular company.

OP: You'd think they'd have learned that no communication is just as damning as too much.

I expect Bioware will showcase Dragon Age 3 at E3. Mass Effect 3 is over aside from some DLC.

The VA's were the one that released that. Not Bioware.

Seems like a good sign to me, and suggests that the EC will be more than just what the official announcement (back in April) said. It would be slightly worrying if they announced at E3 that it would be released at the end of June.

Multiplayer DLC is made by a different studio, so it's not effecting singleplayer to get more characters, guns and maps.

Still no guarantee they'll do a good job, but at the current rate of DLC release, and the rumoured EC release date, they'll have only made a third of the DLC ME2 had in the same time period once they release the EC, so it could be good. Hopefully. It won't be due to a lack of time to develop it at least.

They're damned either way; it would be slightly worrying in your example, only. However it would be far more infuriating if Bioware actually released enough content to substantiate them planning this all along.

Why dash anyone's hopes. As long and everyone thinks the EC is going to be what they hope it will, everyone will stay interested. As soon as they say yes to this, or no to that they run the risk of people moving on from ME3.

The vast majority of people I've talked to about the EC expect it to miserably fail and that they're holding out hope for a surprise.
