Okay I guess.  What I mean is that we are probably not going to get some of the other DLC that they were originally planning to do.  We may still get the Omega DLC sometime after the EC, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's it for story content.

The point I was trying to make is that given that it's the end of the trilogy I don't see what the attraction of DLC is to the story. LOTSB and the other major DLCs added to ME 2 story and prepared for ME 3 ( until the break in the LI) but for ME 3 it can't add to it. At best as I said it's a gun and maybe some EMS points. What else can there be?

The EC was not planned. If it works out, and I hope it does, we'll probably see a Retake Omega scenario. Mr. Gamble has alluded to some of the Pre-order DLC becoming available for purchase, such as that Shotgun only the PC players got.

Whatever else is up to them. I can only speculate.

If that was true it would be only a sad attempt to get more money in my view. Trail the Collector's edition and get the premiuim rate and then add to the money by selling it as DLC?

As to Retake Omega, yawn, what interest can it generate when you know how the end play's out?

On an optimistic note: what if they're takin time to actually fix their mistakes? (IT please!). On a NEW MULTIPLAYER DLC, FREE OF CHARGE! note: hopefully we'll be able to play as Elcor of Hanar (Blasto!) in MP and fight against new enemies like maybe bring back the collectors (yes they are extinct, but multiplayer doesn't have too much of a threshold on continuity)

As to Retake Omega, yawn, what interest can it generate when you know how the end play's out?

If they give me a good enough ending to generate interest in playing the game multiple times, I might have interest in buying more missions for it even knowing the ending. As it stands, I have zero interest in buying anything because I know that nothing I do will make any difference to anyone.

Why bother retaking Omega when you know that Aria will only die sitting in Afterlife rather than Purgatory?

If you're referring to this one that's being released tomorrow, I don't think so. I heard Vorcha and Protheans or something like it.

But hey, maybe we'll get to run around with a creepy little gnome like character that yells "Ahhhhh! I will break you!"

I want a reunion with ME2 LIs very badly, but there is the possibility that all the EC will achieve regarding the LIs could be adding some extra minutes to Liara's forced 10-hours long romance. ME3 squaddies have been confirmed after all.

Then it wouldn't matter because I know that Shepard can reunite with people.

I can CERTAINLY speculate that he would find Miranda.

That kind of speculation is good.

The ending is a mistake.

The IT is nothing more than a fan theory created via confirmation bias.

It is no different than a conspiracy theory.

Could Bioware do it? Sure.

Will they? I don't think so.

We'll just have to wait and see.

It's expected. It would have been appreciated, but I'd rather the EC be top quality rather than quickly released. I do think they are watching from afar how the IT is received.

in the link it states the volus never found the crypts but that can also be why the catalyst says what he says and that is you are the FIRST organic ever to stand here.

now when he says here does he mean here as in face to face with such a being?

afterall the volus was nothing more than some billionare that never really commited to anything unlike shepard who actually stalled a cycle back in me1 to wich javik states

imo again i think shepard becomes a being of light when you choose controll


synthesis allows you to play god by merging organincs and synthetics together

Don't know about the boy on earth (always thought that the Catalyst simply read Shep's mind and used a form that he was sympathetic with), but Mass Effect 3's codex entry for Klencory is very subtle. It says  "His once-ridiculed visions of "beings of light" protecting organic life from synthetic "machine devils" don't seem quite so far-fetched now" 

^ I can see how the machine devils could be the Reapers, but then doesn't this give credibility to the other part of his visions as well, the so-called beings of light?
