K, great. Glad we're speculating emotions now.

He speaks the truth. So strong is our tendency to favour preexisting beliefs that we often retain them even after the evidence for them has been completely discredited.

Better to pull a "Nancy Pelosi" and just pass the bill to see what's in it. It also insures they aren't second guessed every waking minute of their solution. Something that would 100% guarantee NO solution for any shareholder on any level.

Pulling a "Nancy Pelosi" brings this to mind:

and again how is that a double standard...........

you sure like to use big words that you cant define

Well, actually, that would be a phrase. But I'm no grammar fiend.

It's a double standard because you're holding yourself to a different standard (allowance of the using of themes from posts made hours prior) than you're holding me (unallowance).

How's that for a definition? Complete with examples! Your high school logic teacher couldn't have done a better job.

and again your argument is invalid because you just flat out admitted its a phrase so try again nimrod

just answer me this you do know what 2 plus 2 equals right?

i have a feeling you dont

Of course he does, however the notion is not universal and is contextually applied.

The notion cannot be described in a vaccuum.

Okay, you'll have to explain this one to me. I'll admit, you've lost me.

So yes, Bioware, take that for wise counsel. Don't do it. ;)

I'm sensing a theme for tonight: "Very few--barring Daniel--holds themselves to the same standard that they hold others." Kinda wordy, but it works.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I'm more than willing to accept criticism, it simply needs to be valid criticism. You chose to derail this thread, not I. You are not posting critcisms, you are presenting a fallacious argument.

Cute wording, little reinforcement. And you wonder how this argument got derailed so quickly.

I was under the impression that it was you who spewed the vitriol in short outbursts and attacked people.

"Implicit" means nothing to a development team. You have no idea what they're doing.

When the rabbit kneels beneath the foxes muzzle it should expect the possibility of being attacked. Bioware is the rabbit right now and we the fox. Only time will tell what happens.

Perhaps it will be you standing with a small group of others in the end, still spiteful over something as silly as sixty dollars. If money is all you care about you should have taken a full refund when it was offered.

Retaliatory vitriol is far more entertaining.

"Implicit" means nothing to a development team. You have no idea what they're doing.

You're under the misguided impression that I'm speaking about the development team.

When the rabbit kneels beneath the foxes muzzle it should expect the possibility of being attacked. Bioware is the rabbit right now and we the fox. Only time will tell what happens.

If the rabbit put itself in that position in the first place, it has nothing but itself to blame.

Perhaps it will be you standing with a small group of others, still spiteful over something as silly as sixty dollars? If money is all you care about you should have taken a full refund when it was offered.

And again with the speculation of my rationale. This is rather adorable.

Much to your chagrin, I'll just move on if you're unable to pull up the cognitive ability to explain your own statement.

Origin offered full refunds to Origin customers for a very limited time. EA didn't even discuss it when I personally asked their customer service reps.

Because you know the brick wall will come forth with a witty retort that will ultimately keep you coming back, hoping that you'll somehow muster up enough focus to finally get one over him?

What's the point? Why invest that much effort? In this case it really doesn't serve any usefull neccessity at the least.

If you look on these forums(all of ME3 not just spoiler free) as a whole you will see that regardless of what title the thread goes by, 90% or more are about the ending. That just goes to show how much of an issue it is. So post in another or do as I do and add a relevant comment germain to the OP subject matter and move on.

One can make a fairly logical deduction based on the posts that people make. It appears that some people have already decided that the EC is not going to fix anything. People do have this irrational tendency to be rather proven right than happy (like for instance, suspecting a spouse of cheating)

As I said. You had the chance and missed it.

The refund was there and you didn't take it.

If it's just a product to you then why are you still here?

Hope....maybe?

People asked about creating a separate board or at least as sticky for just that, but it didn't happen.

No, I didn't. I was never an Origin customer. So in that assumption, you're wrong.

I would love to know from where you deduced that Mass Effect was simply "a product" to me.

And here I was expecting a civil (well, as civil as the BSN gets) discussion about the EC, and stumbled right into a rather entertaining three way flame war between Tazz, Taboo, and wantedman dan.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet.
