That doesn't mean anything to me. People have made FAR worse mistakes. Bioware is getting second chance.

David Lean wouldn't have gotten a second chance with Lawrence of Arabia.

Think on it.

To those whom hold no regard to history are damned to make the same mistakes.

Uhhhhh.

This mistake has been happening since the beginning of art.

This is nothing new.

They wouldn't be spending four or five months of THEIR lives, at the cost of thousands of dollars just to release ****.

But they already did...

That is...whoever designed the journal, sidequests, and the ending.
Oops did I just say that out loud?

All in all, I enjoyed the game, yes the journal was annoying, and the ending was bad, but I enjoyed the rest of the game enough to warrant giving them another chance.

So did I. Really the ending is the only thing I really warrant a complaint for. I'm mainly joking about the sidequests, they weren't horrible because they fulfilled the purpose they were supposed to: Be filler and make sure you take your time with the game.

I'm not surprised. No one wants to announce they're having to clean up their own mess at a major gaming show.

The Journal is a nitpick.

It's like complaining you have some difficulty hearing words in a film.

It isn't ALWAYS necessary.

I don't even pay attention to it.

Yeah, it's totally me that's here "reunioning" this thread by whining and throwing childish fits.

Remind me again, who voted you the proverbial Speaker of the House?

F*cking up has been, yes. Trusting them to not f*ck up again and again, however, has not.

i never said we were entitled so dont twist  my words around

you do understand NO other single player dlc will be out until after the ec is released right? how is that fair for people who are waiting patiently for such a thing? you dont see us creating 50 threads a day asking the same thing or demonizing the devs on w/e

so because you acted like a child now everyone has to sit in the dark and wait longer

this is a big reason why people need to think before they speak

I imagine that all single player content is on hold until the EC is patched in, so that Bioware can assess the damage caused.

After all, if it turns out to be a disaster, then it will not be profitable to add any more single player DLC.

I WISH I was trolling.

You're the one with the crude insinuations, not I.

My motives however, are my own, and have nothing to do with being malicious towards anyone here.

No, he's being brutally honest.

The journal was obnoxious, sure.  But it was hardly the game-breaking menace it is sometimes painted out to be by irate fans blowing every flaw out of proportion because their bitter about the ****ty ending.

So because you have your complaints, they automagically become the opinions of everybody else?

Please, enlighten me as to your logic here, and as to who really gives a damn about your opinion (aside from those of us mocking it, mind you).

Saying that complaining about the Journal is nitpicking?

Saying that complaining about the Journal, which was an integral facet of both Mass Effect 1 and 2, is nitpicking is obnoxious in and of itself.

SO okay. We can come to 2 conclusions I think from this statement.

1. They're not really focused on working on the extended cut right now and that's their definition of "taking their time"

or

2. They actually are taking their time and making something LotSB quality that will blow our minds.

classic optimism vs pessimism here. Everyone grab a drink and pray.

The stories I could tell you.

You're nitpicking.

Not projecting a film in the correct aspect ratio is something that needs to be fixed because it's integral to the images on screen.

But the journal?

You had THAT much of an issue?

You can add a "what's most likely, but..." clause in there and add realism.
