I'm just south of 600, and that was with a loooooooong break of not promoting anything.

N7 level is like a prestige level in Call of Duty...pointless, I let the players skills speak for themselves. I'm a N7 98 and have no issues being kicked and 9/10 times I've held top score

My N7 rating is at 120 and it will stay that way as well. I just have no interest in promoting. I care more about gathering the credits from each round to upgrade everything. I don't think I'm a 'bad' player. I do alright in Silver for the most part and hold my own. I've played a couple games in Gold and I just get my ass handed to me but I think a part of it is not having things like the weapons completely upgraded for now. Like someone else stated, I don't particularly go for the highest kill count. I try to do the little things. Set up / detonate biotic explosions for others, revive teammates, objectives, spawn points, etc. To me that's more important no matter what someone's N7 rating is. In fact I played a few rounds with one person whose N7 level was something very low like 23 and we worked great together. Then again I have no problem assisting <120 N7 people trying to level their classes up for the first time either.

120 exactly. I never bothered promoting, even for the weekend events -- it was enough of a pain to get them to level 20 once, I'm not making myself do it again. If I need to tweak my powers, that's what respec cards are for.

On Gold I kick everybody below N7150, but more importantly if you don't have a mic even if you're N7-800 you'll get kicked. That guy had Assault Rifle Mod on SMG.

The N7 number is meaningless. Those who kick low/high levels put too much weight on it, for whatever reason it makes them feel insecure, or superior.

Only kick if level = silver/gold and N7 low.
Example:
Silver:
N7=10, character level = 1. Likely to kick.
N7=10, character level = 10. Okay, at least he/she has some abilities now.

Gold
N7<20, probably kick.
N7>20, character >15 = fine with me.

around 1250, but I plan to promote as I buy packs for the DLC items so I can get some benefit from the godawful character cards. Not that having a high N7 is actually of any use...

I only kick when in a gold lobby and I don't start kicks based on N7 but character level. Few people i have met can carry a low level character in gold and do not like to carry it instead of them...

Currently around 470ish. I'll stop once I've finished levelling this current batch of characters which will take me to 510 I think. If they run another promotion event I'll bite but otherwise I'm done.

Really? They're booting as low as 120 now?

Seems like a week ago, if you asked people, they'd say 120 was fine as a 'loose minimum' for gold.

I guess as everyone else promotes up and beyond, us non-promoters start to look unappealing in random lobbies next to all the high numbers...

My N7 is 218 right now, I only ever promoted for the weekend promote challenges.

Heh... no worries.

240 is my cutoff for a definite chance in Gold I will only kick if you use a level 1 adept or something, and below 120 is my instant kick range... sorry, but I don't trust randoms anymore. Every one of them lies about their skill level....

Below 120 means you haven't even played each class once.... <_<

Good call. I'm also thinking about raising my bar from N7/150 to N7/200 for Gold randoms.

im around 1150 i think....unfort i dont have alot else better to do then play ME3 multiplayer with my friends...but luckaly the DLC coming out soon will get me interested a little again to play.
But to me N7 rating does not really matter....its more about the class setup and weapons that can show a person how he/she plans to play.

In the 1st month and half I was on the top 10 of my country but then when I realized promoting is good just for try new builds when you finish respec cards. So I stopped lvling the rating except for events involving promoting

i've only ever gotten kicked five or six times, even back when i overloaded guns and had no idea wtf a specialized build was.

i never host and would probably never kick someone because a) i'm nice like that and B) i refuse to use a mic or listen to others'.

I have a high N7 rank which is incredibly embarrassing for me because I am not a very good player. Familiarity makes bronze easy but slow coordination skill makes silver/gold difficult, particularly since I lost all my understanding teammates to Diablo III. So I hope when people see my N7 score somewhere above 1700 and then we wipe in wave 9, they don't hold it against me.

I remember playing some decent games with you including a gold one in which we got full extraction. I never had the impression that you were much worse than the rest of the team.
