Geth pyros shouldn't have dodge.
They have shields,
they have armour,
they have a volatile mix of fluids in a container on their back.
They should not do the jiggly stuff.

And I really detest the flamer range.
They should also make more noise. They are too sneaky.

Yeah, if there's one thing I'd question it'd be the decision to extend the Pyro's flame range. It makes it really hard to run away  :-(

Ok - you have a good point too. And dodge - why do they dodge?! Especially when I try to stagger them with a power so I can run away...

Well it's a good thing that every character has Overload or Energy Drain as a pocket ability then! :bandit:

Those abilities don't even reliably stagger any Geth units other than regular troopers. Everything else just keeps closing in on you (other than Rocket Troopers, who shoot a few missiles around your cover in reward for your efforts). Pyros and Hunters don't even flinch. They just keep advancing. And then they kill you.

Geth aren't overpowered if you have a team full of infiltrators. They're overpowered if you use any class that needs to be up close.

Here are the are the issues I have with the Geth

- Geth turrets, each prime can only put out one and once it's destroyed, it's gone.

- Hunters, there needs to be less or they need to remove their stunlock capability or they need to reduce their damage. Also, them shooting while stunned needs to be fixed.

- Pyros, range decrease. It seems the range of their flamer is actually larger than the range at which they start using it. You get in and deal some damage then roll back but you're still getting hit so you roll back again but your still getting hit. Add to that the 3 other pyros, 4 hunters, two primes and multitude of turrets.

- Rocket troopers, this one is obvious. Them shooting while stunned needs to be fixed and them shooting up to three rockets at once needs to be fixed as well.

- Geth troopers, they step on you way too quick. This is annoying but not really a big deal.

- All, they evade way too much and/or way too efficiently.


Again, if you're a long range character geth really aren't much of an issue, but try a Vorcha, Batarian or Krogan. You're screwed. The part that's even worse, it seems every time I pick my vorcha, I get geth enemies.

Falcon shot them with cryo ammo.
Geth have a fatal weakness to explosive projectiles.
They group up WAAAAAY too much.

You know what, I see an even simpler solution. It's not ideal as enemies should be balanced to the point where I can use whatever class I want against any enemy but if the game simply told us what enemy was up next, problem solved. I can switch to a class that is effective against that enemy.

Nah when they fire 4 then it's lag. Geth rocketeers love us so much they give us 2 rockets for the price of 1.

Yes let me get my crystal magic ball so I can see if the random enemy will be geth or not so I know to switch charachters ....

^ Yeah pretty much what I thought. The team was probably optimized to defeat Geth seeing as Energy Drain, Hunter Mode, Prox Mine, Sabotage and TC are all OP against them.

But, it's still gold in under 20 minutes, so more like CSB.

Unfortunately not. I've noticed that it happens less often in the past day though. However, sometimes I /will/ charge, but it won't do damage or set off an explosion, even while hosting.
Fix one problem, and make another. <_<

Recently played dagger/gold/geth with a friend, an acquaintance and a stranger, and i can say that they are perfectly fine. Yes, they are now tougher than reapers in some aspects. But it only makes them more fun.

We were a Batarian Soldier(me), a sniping asari vanguard(i will kill my friend the next time he uses it.) with the new SR, and 2 Geth Engineers(one with javelin). We wiped on wave 10(we generally never wipe, but we made a stupid mistake and got cornered on the hack objective. I had no consumables at all, too.

Only one thing about geth. Stunlock on krogans and batarians. It needs to go. Other characters are not staggered as easily, but krogans and batarians? They just stand there derpfaced eating every pulse from that prime.

I played Gold Geth Goddess last night and it was the hardest match I've ever played. The wave 10 objective was a hack in the middle of the map and we had no chance. My team was all close quarter combat characters, so that didn't help. The hunters were difficult to see because of the dark layout of Goddess, and we were getting flacked everywhere. It was fun as hell though. I would love to someone solo Gold Goddess Geth, now that would take some real skill.

Farming is evil. It provides a reliable way to raise in-game creds. And with those, you can avoid gambling with real money on the store.


If Bioware thinks, I would give real money for in-game packs, they're fools! Wrex should eat them!

Well, we are both on the PC so we can give it a shot. Can't promise anything though, you need talent for this level of awesomeness. NB I am not saying you don't have it...
Btw, I was the last in that game so you actually picked the weekest link. Good guess about the salarian/geth, but there was a also a shotty human infiltrator with us. In fact, he came first. Two shotties and two snipers.

You used a four infiltrator team as grounds for saying the geth are not OP. In that case you're right, they are not OP against a four infiltrator team. It's quite ridiculous, however, to say that all enemies should be balanced against a four infiltrator team.

You come in here with a weak ass argument, claming you didn't come here to brag, and you insult people. Sounds an awful lot like a troll to me.

This is a very good point. If Pyros can have a ton of shields and health and still be able to dodge, why can't Krogans, Batarians, and Turians? The lack of a Turian roll when Marauders have one is the most egregious example, but should go without saying at this point.

The error you made was making a post and replies to other forum members which were clearly meant to incite and troll, and calling others "jackasses" who were dealing in "BS." This thread and discussion were not substandard or pointless, your contributions were. The fact that you could not even gracefully edit what I'm sure was more of the same in this last post and had to leave with a backhanded insult further proves that.
