Here on the Bioware page i have been trying to buy+download "From Ashes" but it states that i should do so from within the game.
Only problem is i don't have a button marked "Downloadable content" so i'm kinda stuck.
Can anyone help?

Get it through Origin.Right click on your ME3 and click the "shop for add-ons" button in the upper right. You should be able to purchase there.
