I'm still hopeful that DA3 might be worthwhile. If Bioware learns from their mistakes and makes a game that incorporates what made the first game successful instead of clinging to what was unsucessful about the second (and EA gives them the time, money, resources and green light to do so), then I might get it. If they bring back race options, I'll pre-order and stand in line at midnight to get it.

What … what else would they do? Pack up the furniture and shut off the lights?

That is what pretty much happens if a series is no longer profitable.  The Dragon Age series hasn't reached that point, and I hope it doesn't, but with Dragon Age 2's polarizing reception, its up to Dragon Age 3 to see if the series goes downhill, or if it can pick back up.

You didn't really get my point. If not Dragon Age 3, what then? The Mass Effect series is done and they're not going to do KOTOR 3 or Jade Empire 2. Develop a new series? That **** takes time, yo.

Personally, I'd like the start up of a new series after the Mass Effect series, but like you said, that would take a long time.  Dragon Age 3's definitely the next Bioware game we're getting.

....Or the Command and Conquer game.  I haven't really looked at its release date.

I hope they do, they have a great IP. Even though DA2 seemed rushed and it wasn´t as good as DA:O in my opinion it was still decent and I enjoyed it. They can do much better than DA2, we know it and they know it. If they don´t rush the next game (like it seem to happen with not only DA2 but also ME3… and I would tend to think ME2 as well) I am sure they will deliver another masterpiece.

Thanks for your opinion.
