Reapers leave Parnack alone. But Yahg are nearly space race, they were close to build first spaceship.

So if Shepard would fail at me1, 2 or 3 and Crucible wasnt compleat reapers cycle would continue. Humans was cave man when invasion end. Yahg would be space race when invasion end.

so what do you think, Yahg could defeat reapers? They have 50k years of high level technology to kill reapers.

IMO after 50k years when reapers would return to harves civilization they could met Yagh as more powerfull race then reapers and they could kick reaprs ass.

But who want to live in cycle when Yahg are in rule?

The Yahg seem dumb and brutish, but one that was simply a pet was smart enough to be the shadow broker... So I think the Yahg would be pretty formidible. However, I still don't see them very tech savvy or powerful with biotics.  And they seem to have anger problems... I think they'd rule prothean style.

The Yahg are awesome and all... but they'd have to contend with Yahg husks. *Shudder*

They can read people's body language and know if you are lying.

I think it would be great to see, espically considering the damage Shepard's cycle will do. There should be a negative ending/spin off where Shepard gets frozen Javik style and the Yahg thaw him out when the reapers should up in thier cycle.

I should make my new personal canon be Shep dying in Suicide Mission, Reapers winning the current cycle, and then the yahg defeating them 50,000 years down the road.

Didn't the Yahg bomb themselves like the Krogan did?

The Reapers destroy the yahg after all the spacefaring races are dead first. They only leave species that are at least ~45,000 years from space flight.

Liara's time capsule, if discovered, would help them prepare.

By the time that the Reapers are finished with all of the citadel races and such, the Yahg would have progressed to a point where the Reapers would consider them a threat (for the next cycle).

On their way back into Dark Space, the Reapers would harvest them.

I don't understand why the reapers never created husks out of the Yahg and used them to fight the other races. I expected the Yahg to have a slightly bigger role in mass effect 3.. Would it be possible to have a Yahg as a squad mate? Would be an interesting dlc.

Reaper cycles average out to be about once every 50,000 years, but that doesn't mean that they all occur at exactly 50,000 years after the last cycle. Some likely occur sooner and others later, with 50,000 years just being the average time between cycles.

To use a real world comparison, the caldera under Yellowstone erupts about once every 600,000 years. The last eruption however was 640,000 years ago.

I continue to be doubtful that the Reapers would allow any race that has any kind of knowledge of galactic civilization to exist. It would create too much opportunity for that race to figure out what happened. And then they'd have a good 50,000 years to prepare.

I think the Reapers would finish destroying galactic civilization, then make a detour and simply bomb the yahg and the raloi out of existance. The raloi especially, since they had become space faring and are merely "pretending" that they never left their home world, in the hope of being left alone.

This is just my own speculation, though.

This is speculation.

Of a civilization was stuck on their planet.
If you were the Reapers wouldn't you focus on those who can mount a defense?
Sure, you could counter the Krogan with Yahg and Brute husks, but that takes time.

Again, Speculation on my part also.

The Raloi are never mentioned either and they had conversations with the Asari, the Yahg just killed the first contact group.

The raloi are mentioned in a news update on the Citadel. First time you go into the Spectre office. The update says that they returned to their homeworld and destroyed all their satellites in the hope that the Reapers will think they're pre-space flight and leave them alone.

And if I were the Reapers, I'd destroy anyone that has knowledge of modern galactic civilization, just to avoid the risk that they might "learn too much" and spend 50,000 years preparing. Since the Yahg aren't allowed space flight, it would be easy to destroy them. Simply park a Reaper fleet in orbit and bomb them out of existence. No need to send ground troops to do combat.

They are in no way implied to be dumb (the opposite, in fact). Their culture is mired in a brutal and stringent caste system, certainly, but there is no evidence to be found to support the idea they are unintelligent.

Ugh, thank you. It drives me crazy how everyone is always using the 50K years as if that's exactly how long each cycle lasts.

No, the Council sent delegates to the yahg home world. When the delegates failed to show the proper respect (read: treated the yahg as equals), they were torn apart. The result was a sanction.
