I keep getting an error message on Origin: "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again in a few moments. Error: 123"

Anyone have any solution?

I'm also getting this error. Running win7 64. Downloaded the newest version of Origin and still no luck.

OK, found solution.

Origin\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\Support\\EA Help\\en-us\\Electronic_Arts_Technical_Support.glo

I unchecked Read Only and started to update.

OK, now I got new problem.

Now it asks to be log in as an administrator, even though I am logged in like admin.

Found this on another forum - worked for me!  Jeez this was a stupid error.

[*]

this error is happening to many users because the Origin is trying to read a file marked as read-only and is failing.

try go to:
Origin Games\\Battlefield 3\\Support\\EA Help\\en-us

Look
for files like "Electronic_Arts_Technical_Support.***"( in special
Electronic_Arts_Technical_Support.glo) is marked as read Only, if marked
remove mark or renamed file

if this does not solve the problem try:

Step 1. Go to folder: “C:\\ProgramData\\Origin\\Logs” and delete any existing log files there.
Step 2. Run Origin and Log in and update the BF3.
Step 3. Open the Origin Logs folder once more and collect Origin log files from the folder “C:\\ProgramData\\Origin\\Logs”

search for line

"SetError 123" or "error 123state"

and post here the lines written in red letters

Good Luck!

if the problem is Fixed report Result!
Tanks!
