Not sure if anybody else here is experiencing this too.

When I click on the "Get It Now" button under the Extended Cut DLC, nothing happens.

Is there something really wrong with EA or Bioware??

The problems most of us are having are with EA. The short version is that for some reason, our accounts can't be used to access the DLC. I'm not sure if your problem is the same. It could potentially be a computer issue but it couldn't hurt anything but your blood pressure to try contacting EA support about it.

we all did it for more then 4-5 times and ea support doesn't worth the time. next time bioware will publish a game I won't buy it until it's on sale or something with all dlc included.

computer issue ? definitly NOT possible ... since origin uses the web (ea/origin servers)
and did you read the examples earlier in this thread, from RamPuppy or elearon ? :)
they are the best results thats not a comp issue on side of the user

Agreed. Trying from multiple computers yields same results.

Sorry, I was responding to daong and was too lazy to quote. I'm having the same problem as the rest of you, so I know very well what it entails.

If you have friends who already downloaded the EC, copy the "DLC_CON_END" to a flashdrive and copy this to your Origin Games folder. Take care to put it in the BIOGame, DLC folder. Start Origin and you should be fine.

Agreed, I could easily torrent all these DLCs, but this is not a solution. I want my account to OWN them, to work flawlessly with them integrated into the game. Once again people who pirated the game are having fun right now, while we who paid good money to EA are still waiting for a solution.
BTW, a so called EA "expert" contacted me, but no reason to celebrate. He contacted me about an issue I had 5(!) weeks ago with importing Shepard's face from ME2. On top of that, all he did was point me towards a forum post about the subject. Seriously? 5 weeks to do that?
Do they really think it's acceptable? That I would wait this long to start the game?
On the upside, his response came with an automated survey about the quality of EA's customer support. You can guess the grades I gave them - it felt good.

EDIT: Cancelled my subscription to SWtOR just as I promised, and my friends are about to cancel too, despite really enjoying the game. I don't feel like paying more to companies who discard me after they get the money. Will consider renewing it when and if my issues here are fixed. Maybe if it hurts their pockets it'll make somebody care up there.

Just added a comment to one of the open cases. Letting them know that the problem has extended to the recent extended cut dlc.

OK final proof for this being EA-account issue just came in from my last experiment. I had a friend from Romania log into my account in Origin to try and purchase the DLCs for me (I live in Israel). Guess what? You're right! TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE! Even from another country, another computer, another internet connection...
So the next time EA support tells you to update Origin or Reinstall ME3, you can tell them about that.
I suspect this error will prevent us from buying any future DLCs as well (paid ones included) and perhaps even games off Origin (unless someone tried and it worked).
BioWare, can we please, please, get an official comment about this? Anything? It's been going on for waaaayy too long without any response... We know it's EA's fault and not yours, but you have a big fanbase here which is really let down, and for them the only thing that matters is that their game is broken, not whose fault it is...

BOOM! SOLVED!

Listen up everyone, solution's finally here!
So, after the 13th livechat which was as useless as usual, I finally bothered calling the US support number all the way from Israel (had to wait till 3am to do that...), and was finally able to actually speak with a rep who was a little more creative than a brick, his name was Scott and he was very helpful.
He found out the problem in 2 seconds - my account was set to Israel (which is not a problem), but my language was set in EA's database to Hebrew somehow (the language in Israel which EA does not support so no idea how it happened).
Anyway, he changed my account's location to US and language to English, and KABOOM - download is working!
He asked me to post this solution here: Everyone who encounters this problem should contact EA's support (livechat or calling) and ask their account location and language changed to US and English respectively. After that, you can change your location back and it will work, but leave the language on English. That's it, you're good to go! Thanks again Scott for doing in 2 minutes what an army of 13 livechat guys and 5 escalations couldn't do!

DISCLAIMER: This solution works for the TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE ERROR, I can't say about the General Error, but it's definitely worth a shot!

So after all said and done, what are you waiting for? Tell me if it worked! *crossing fingers for everyone*
:D

I contacted ea via live chat as OPini suggested. I am in the USA and asked them to check.I gave him control of my system to see what is going on w/ no success. He said the problem was Windows 8, I told him I get it under windows 7. Rebooted to win 7 and chatted w/ someone else and they elevated this w/ high priority.

To be clear I get the General Error.

for me , with the general error , it did not work ..
another friend here from germany , had w7ultimate 64bit (i had w7prof 64bit, but that can not be a problem) , and he has also "not" a single problem  with adding the dlc to his account , not even a download problem ..

an OPini , the general error seems to be a deeper problem ... purchased trough origin one thing for Battlefield 3 , one of the cheap things for 3 bucks ... and this worked flawlessly when i tryed this (this was 1 or 1,5 weeks ago) ..

@EA/Bioware : fix it quicker ... :(
@all others : yes my cauldron is overheating... all know (iam sure) what i mean :)

Hmm... This general error seems persistent indeed. I would suggest you actually phone support instead of using livechat as it's just a waste of time - all this elevation with high priority is a lie. Their phone support team is US based so they have a lot more authority and knowledge. A 5 minute call can save you weeks of frustration. Ask them to check your account for any errors, wrong settings or discrepancies. Also, did you try to use a different computer to check if this error is client or account related? I'll try to help you as much as possible because I'm already commited to the cause :)

other games downloading what i have in origin - yes (since release from the second multiplayer dlc it was for example fifa manager 12 (+live season) , me3 (+ashes & first multiplayer dlc) because of reinstall , battlefield 3 , Dragon Age 2)

dlcs from games in origin , the only one would be bf3 (since da2 dlcs can downloaded separatly from here on social) , and my bf3premium downloaded the second addon flawless

Then you're saying this problem is only specific to ME3? If it is, you can ask the support to replace your copy - delete the one you have and add another one with a different cdkey. I know for a fact it has solved some problems for people. Other than that, you should really try calling them (using skype it's free) and talk to them rather than chatting with the useless outsourced support team.

for me it "looks" to be me3 specific...
they must something changed (but what , stays in the stars ... or eaten by reapers ..) between the first and second mp dlc , because the first mp dlc which is free too was adding without a problem at release (same with ashes at me3 release )

Still no fix ...yet the company continues to release DLC that they know many people cant download.
This is killing mp for me and soon I will have to leave.
Certainly bioware will never see another penny of my money.

I do admit as well it is only for ME3. I uninstalled Dragon Age 2 and reinstalled it with all dlc with no problems. Also I got one of those free codes from EA for one of the four free games and had no problem downloading that. Also same as  you Jake_Farrell no problem downloading the first mp dlc after that though ::shrugs::
