Well I had a gaming friend I met in MP do it for me so maybe you can find someone to do it for you?

Ok there is a work around for the problem.
If another player logs on to their account on your computer then downloads the dlc you can then access the maps etc yourself.
After doing this the dlc did not show in origin as being installed but I can play the new maps so it works.
You can do it online with team viewer or a similiar program.

I'm hoping Bioware could give out redeemable codes/serials for Rebellion DLC and see if that works as an alternative method, so we don't have to wait much longer to be able to play with our friends. Someone else mentioned it had worked for From Ashes DLC.

Basically I have all maps weapons etc available...I still have to unlock characters and weapons as normal and basically I now have the rebellion dlc.
However origin doesnt seem to register that fact....dunno if that will cause any problems down the track but at least i can play again.

Hmm...if the spectre packs unlocks the new stuff, then I might give it a go. Then again, never know if it will cause problems further down the road, like relocking stuff or messing up my account in Origin's database.

I can confirm that it does unlock the new stuff. I just got the Cerberus Vanguard. I found the Rebellion pack online so I just put the Rebellion folder into my game and it worked.

Not sure if it's going to cause problems down the road but I don't think the fix is going to happen any time soon so I just did it. If anyone else wants to try just google the rebellion pack.

Confirmed - my buddy and I tried this, he unlocked a Reegar last night and we played a couple matches on Goddess. I would have posted sooner - but ahh.. i had a LOT to drink... and that is my excuse.

I just hope that now that you've found this workaround it will not give them a reason to forget about the problem, an official fix is definitely still warrented!

It would be foolish to ban people over wanting to add FREE content to their account. Because really. The content is FREE anyhoo. It's incredibly silly that fans of the game need to come up with proper solutions for a game bug. And it would be even more incredibly silly if those people would get punished.

If you ask me, they should be hired to work with Bioware.

now its the day number "five" (5) .... so bioware, WHAT is now ... ? you know it from other since "release-day" from the second MP-DLC ...
and torrent & co is NOT an option , even if its free ...

Q: what is so difficult/heavy to get us (as some people before) a key for the dlc to add it manually ?
"my" A: absolutly "nothing" ... but yours bioware ?

the verification of the ME1 DLC shows it to us , since we can not access the old bioware site, now there exist a general-key which we can use.. why not here too ? (or simply fix the flag in our accounts so we can "add" the dlc throug origin ..)

I have recently come across this same problem. I have been raising hell for weeks with EA customer support. It got to the point where they said they would just give it to me. I was told to go to my game content at social.bioware.com because they applied the From Ashes DLC to my account, and download it from there. They obviously don't know anything about their own programs. You can't do it that way either. I managed to get Rebellion and Resurgence no problem. anytime I have to use eh Origin client to pay for something I get a general error. I must say, Worst customer service ever lol

Almost five days since it came out, and I STILL can't get the rebellion pack. Sure would be nice to get another Bioware response here, even if it's just another confirmation that they're working on it. It's starting to feel like it should not be taking this long to fix, and that we're really just getting left by the wayside.

If all it takes to get it working is to put the files in the game directory, then it shouldn't take too long to just put up the freakin' zip file for us to download! I'm sure they can spare the minute it would take to do that and give us a link. Bah, if Bioware won't do that; can someone here who has gotten it to work just send me the link to the torrent via private message or just post it here for everyone else who is having the problem? Let's just get the solution out there and be done with it.

If you do the workaround via TeamViewer and a different account, do it with people you trust. If you played a couple matches and talked, and you know how the other buddy is ticking, then he's your best bet of help. This definitely works, just don't be fooled by Origin not showing that you have the DLC installed. I was playing fine with Badpanzer, not sure if he unlocked anything DLC-ish though. I think he'll report, when he unlocked something.

Can be a little laggy, but just let the dude do the work (logging in his account). There's much trust needed, because there're risk on both sides, either he spionaging your PC, or you taking his account.

So far my rebellion pack seems to be working as advertised with the sole exception that origin doesnt seem to know its installed.
I have unlocked charcters and weapons and all seems well.

As UltimateTobi said doing it this way requires some trust but if you know someone it should be good.
Obviously I cannot guarantee that Bioware/EA wont decide to punish people for doing this but 1) it would be unbelieveably stupid and 2) what have you got to lose?
If you dont use this fix you cant really play anyway.

Im prepared to take bioware on their word and accept that they are working on this so one day an official fix is likely however its been a while already so if you want to play now this seems to be the only way.

I've used the .torrent method and it is working fine.

Still think Bioware should look into this more, or rather EA, since doing searches shows that the freemium Battlefield have had users reporting the same issue last year. We have provided error log excerpts here, so they have a place to start from.

Another useless chat session with EA support. "We are absolutely working on it, we can't give you a redemption code, no ETA, please wait, thank you for letting us do nothing" etc...
I'm really afraid they're gonna let the subject drop by not doing anything for a long time until everybody is forced to use torrents to fix their broken system...

Here it is, a week has gone by. According to the forum posts we are getting the run around.Opini chatted w/ ea and got blown off it sounds like. Although this is for users, I would think that the team would drop by and at least give us some tidbit of info to show us that this problem is being worked on.

Yes over a week now and still no word....allegedly its being worked on but sadly thats been said before and turned out to be untrue.
Hopefully we will hear something soon.

Please help is there any way I can download the dlc packs manuely. I have limited internet on my gaming pc at home. The contens is not showing on my profile in bioware's site and the advisers is unable to assist. I'm get so frustrated at this momant I can throw my pc out the window.

Yes there is.
I believe there is a torrent available and if you read the full thread you will see that a fix is possible.
It isnt perfect but it does work...I would post a link to the torrent but I dont have it myself.

I just got an email from senior support, stating it's been fixed. Apparently they even logged into my account to download the DLC on their end, which was a success. So now uninstalling Origin, downloading the latest version and attempting again. Will update in a sec to see if it worked! =)

Hi. I downloaded the Rebellion after many trouble but when i start the game a message tell me about" This DLC is damaged (but dont' tell me the name of dlc.) and not work. Try to reinstall" I try to ripare installation from Origin. but the problem is always here !!!! Any ideas to help me please ?

They definitely didn't fix anything, it's exactly the same as it was. It's starting to become frustrating, because although they keep promising they're gonna fix it, it doesn't seem like any officials mind.
I wonder why as a temporary solution they can't upload the DLCs to the BW website like the other DLC, so that at least we can go around Origin as long as it's broken...
