Carnifex X: headshots after a charge and headshots from across the map before he charges plus a 200% CD. He's a caster that can charge. If you treat him like a Nova Charger then your going to miss out on alot of what he is capable of.

But the basic reason that I don't like it is because I was really expecting some fast-paced in-your-face action like with novaguard.
I'll probably turn it into more of a ranged character for detonating Reave with Lash as the cooldown on that is so short. With a couple of Reave spamming friends the map explodes.

Wow, bad luck. I got all the characters with about 2-3mil and then with another 2mil maxed the characters custimization and even spent some on veteran packs to get the uncommon gear. Got a Harrier I-II, BW V-VI, Saber III-IV, Wraith V-VI, Paladin VII, and maxed out the 2 new rare guns. Had 6mil in total. But with all that I've yet to get the Indra, Talon, or Scorpion, of which the Indra and Talon i really want.Ryan_H wrote...

with my limited time with this character (just unlocked last night), i personally didn't enjoy using lash. it would've been a great power had it not pulled the enemy all over the place. i think a better build would be...

this is what i'm gonna rebuild on. with this, i'd carry a Carnifex and Charge/Melee and shoot the weaker enemies. then, as the above said, use the heck outta Smash for things like Brutes, Geth Prime, etc. you could also go with Electrical Damage as power evo for rank 4 on Smash. not sure which would be more effective. i guess increasing damange by 50% for 7.5 seconds would be better for the whole team???

Build at the moment:
Charge 6 (Force/Damage, Power Synergy, Barrier)
Smash 6 (Force/Damage, Force/Damage, Impact Radius)
Lash 6 (Detonate, DoT, Shield penetration)
Phoenix training 4 (weight capacity)
Fitness 4 (durability)
Using a Talon V at the moment, but I would like to try out the Reegar with this once I unlock it.
I am considering changing smash 6 to Armour/Barrier Damage, and lash 4 to Damage - ignoring biotic explosiong for the most part and just focus on raw damage.

Normally, I'll sit back and lash things towards me and heavy melee/charge them if they don't outright die or go flying off of a cliff. If I charge something I follow it up with a heavy melee and maybe a lash for kicks.
Basically I really like lash, it's fantastic. Great utility on a short cooldown. I want to like smash but I think I would need the radius upgrade to really get use out of it and I'm not sure what to sacrifice to pick it up. Maybe I'll try a build that scarifices the passive for it somewhat.

also, if you are going to use Lash, i def wouldn't do detonate and instead go with damage on rank 4 evo. it was rare that i could use Lash and then do a biotic charge afterwards to cause a detonation because Lash will pull your enemy all over the place. if anything, Lash + Charge would be for enemies that are really really far away from you.

I'm concerned about durability, but the passive 5 power damage benefits all three powers, and only sacrificing 75 barrier 75 health..

I would Suggest runnung 6-6-6-0-6 with 200%CD (using a Phalanx w/ap/Mellee mod)
That coulpled with a Bastion mod is working wonders for me atm, and is fast enough to pull off some intresting combos. for example lash-HM-Smash-HM in the space of 6 seconds at the same time as triggering your own BE.

this should pwn all, even on Gold mate. i switched rank 4 evo of Charge to pure damage and rank 6 of Fitness for more melee damage. i wonder if a smash/melee followed by a charge would kill everything on Gold. hmmm

Nope. I got him in my first PSP after downloading Rebellion, then got appearance options for him in the next three I bought.
Only new character I've got and I don't really have any use for him. <_<
