Everything was working great with my BioWare SocialNetwork account until a couple weeks ago.  Now, in DA:O I'm getting a "You have timed out while attempting to access your online profile storage."

From the web site, I went to the game page and ran the diagnostic tool, and it's giving me the error "Invalid persona/game combination".  I didn't see anything on this error in the FAQ.

Any ideas what I should do to fix this?

The game is working fine.  All of my DLC is working properly.  It'd just be nice if it were uploading my characters properly again.

Hmm... After hunting around the EA site, I managed to find the spot to change my default Persona. I was using my Xbox Live Gamertag as my default Persona, even though I'm playing DA:O on the PC. I switched it to the DragonAge_123456 Persona, and the diagnostics tool started working. I switched my default Persona back to my Xbox Live Gamertag, and it's still working...



Now I just have to figure out why it says I have too many files uploaded, even though I'm under the 100 file limit, and aren't even close to the maximum amount of space used.

This post came up in google. I'm seeing the Dragon Age Player Profile Diagnostics now, so I tried it and it says "Invalid persona/game combination". The linked FAQ on that page doesn't mention this message.



What does it mean and how do I resolve it? I had a Bioware account and EA account from separate game purchases if that matters. I'd like to have everything sorted out but the information is sparse and I'm afraid to try anything for fear of the DRM blocking access to my games and/or DLC. Need more info about what this message means and the steps necessary to tie everything together.

One of two things: either it's a bug (which they're working on), in which case keep trying, or the user ID in the URL does not have any game data associated with it. I'm unsure on whether you need the game registered in order to access the diagnostics page.

It's a problem they're working on. In one of the other threads in this forum (about the diagnostic tool) they asked people to pm them the url of the page if they got this message.

See the FAQ on changing e-mail address. That will take you to your EA profile page, which should display all your personas.

I had the same problem, it wasn't defaulted to my Xbox Live account id, just me EA ID. So I switched it to my Xbox Live account, but that's when the problems started.

Oh joy, I'm getting this error now. Social site seems to be utterly broken this week.

I've had the same error for quite a while but couldn't find a fix. As of today it's suddently fixed and the right persona is set to default.

For some reason the link didn't work for me when I wasn't already logged in. To get to it indirectly, go to http://www.ea.com, click on the "Sign In" button in the bar at the bottom of your browser, enter your email address and password to access your EA account, then click on the "Welcome, email@yourdomain.com!" in the bottom bar to access your profile page.

Thanks for the info! Selecting a default persona seemed to resolved the issue with "Invalid persona/game combination" error.

I am having the same problem. I want to delete my persona (my 360 gametarg) associated to one of my ea account. I need this persona with my other ea account to use cerberus network

virpley; you mean this page: support.ea.com/chat ? It wasn't open now, but I have the same problem and the support in Sweden has helped me to remove EA personas, which has spawnad a new one - but it's still not working. Even though i only have one EA persona now, I still have two here on the Bioware forum, one connected to the game and working, the other one to the Bioware forum account. It's so wierd...

Has ANYONE ever gotten a solution? I have been having the "Invalid Persona/Game combination" message under my profile diagnostics since December, 2011. I have tried everything. Setting my default persona as my current gamertag, contacted EA, and nothing.
