They still never said this, you can say it's so because of the source material, you're probably right but it still wasn't said.

They just said this during their press conference. They'll let you pick class and design your character, unlike in Witcher.

All of them require you to build your stats in order to shoot and build your stats in different weapons in order to use them with proficiency. You can't just pick up a gun in any of those games and be perfect with them. You can;t even pick it up and be good without investing points into those classes. And Borderlands, it sounds like you didn't give it a chance. There are literally hundreds of combinations you can make with different firearm pieces and classes. It may be weak in story, but as far as class system and weapon customization, Borderlands is at the top of the list.

Mass Effect 1 and KotOR as well.

This is their first announcement, it may change.
I'm not making any judgements t'ill it's on the store shelf, I will follow it however.

The game is based off of another game where there are no pre-defined characters, there's character creator and classes and class systems along with weapon customization. Where's the miscommunication?

Just go to GOG.com they are streaming on the main site, no Facebook needed.

Wonder if they'll go with a twitch shooter combat system or have a crack at the notorious hybrid between stats and shooting. ME1 and alpha protocol failed horribly, wonder I'd they could pull it off.

He didn't specify but he definitely said you can customize your character. I don't see why they wouldn't let you have a female character, but they did not confirm that.

Link?  I am on the CDProjekt page and nothing.  All in polish.  If I select the english flag I get english until I select any other link and then...polish.  No sign of this game even on their main page.

Well the creator of the Pen & paper game was talking about male and female heroes but the CDPR guy never said anything about that in game.

Well, I'm suddenly a lot more interested now that I know character customization is on the table. Doesn't mean it's an instant buy from me, but I can safely put it under DOS on my imaginary list of games to keep an eye on. Sweetness.

On an unrelated note, bit annoyed Dreamfall was released on GOG. I bought that on Steam months back expecting it would never happen. Now I need to buy it a *third* time. Gah... :pinched:
