Are you familiar with CYBERPUNK the pen and paper rpg? BEcause there are no heavily defined characters. much like every other pen and paper rpgs. They did say there;s weapon and character customization.


They still never said this, you can say it's so because of the source material, you're probably right but it still wasn't said.


What? He flat out said you can customize your character and how it's different from the Witcher series in that regard.


Wait, I missed this. Does the customization extend to gender as well?


Well the creator of the Pen & paper game was talking about male and female heroes but the CDPR guy never said anything about that in game.


This is why I am slightly wary.

Tell me about it.  But I'm still nearly that excited. I hope they have a full cyberspace segment for Netrunners. But I gett all drooly thinking of the other classes too. Rockerboys? Nomads? Solos? Yes please.

Theme & name is Cyberpunk, no mention of platform but announcement was preceeded by success of console, customizable character (gender not specified, but we think it's likely), not sure if one shot or multigame.

No real details were announced. They're commited to giving us a high quality game where your choices will change the game world.

It's based off of the pen n paper RPG CYBERPUNK. SO the best guess I have as to how this would be incorporated is imagining a game like Fallout New Vegas in a world like Bladerunner or Ghost in the shell. There's customization gallore from what they said including weapons.

I just hope I can make a character that looks like Molly Millions.

Make a request on the GOG forums, bet they would do something if enough people get behind it..... or just go to a custom T shop.

Waiting for a demo or trying a friend's copy first.

TW2, while being awesome story-wise has left me with a bad taste regarding gameplay, and besides it runs horribad.

Unless they improve in both aspects (or for the latter, I buy a new PC) I wont enjoy this game even though the idea and art looks very promising.

Did you play it on a Keyboard? If so that's your problem. If not I don't know what the hell you mean.

I think he was making fun of the slow jam on the press conference... and, really, all ya had to do was flip back a page or two on the thread for more details.  I'm waiting for one of the big gaming sites to release the condensed version.. haha.

Did you play it on a Keyboard? If so that's your problem. If not I don't know what the hell you mean.


Indeed. PC Gamer Master RaceB):P

I dont even own an XBox, and therefore no controller either.


But that is not even what I meant, I meant that it is much too hardware-demanding. On a PC that can run Skyrim, Crysis 2 and the likes on highest settings without any problems, and can even run several older games in the background at the same time, a game should run smooth. Yet TW2 doesnt, in fact combat is nigh-impossible on high graphic settings due to slowdowns and lag.
