I'm extremely curious as to what you think a game should contain to be considered mature. If you don't think violence, sex, drugs or language mature themes, then what are? Moral ambiguity? Geralt is essentially a character built from that concept. Philosophy? Something constantly touted throughout the series. Realistic character traits? I think anyone who's even played 1 hour of TW2 can testify to that.

Or do you consider a mature game one that revolves around the arbitrary romances?

I have a feeling that you're one of those people who've seen the often zealous fanboys of the Witcher tout how magnificently mature the games are, then watched a couple Youtube videos, and became a contrarian for the sake of it.

Properly educate yourself.

If one didn't know ANYTHING about The Witcher, but came onto forums to hear about it, all they would think is SEXISM.
But if they learned MORE about it, they might buy it and experience something special. It's an amazing game, and shouldn't be viewed as "That game with ******," as a selling or breaking point.
That's my two bits, anyway.

Just a little more info about the cyborg-girl that has shocked some of you...

It is probably meant to be Alt Cunningham, a netrunner [hacker] killed heinously by the evil corporation Araska (sorry, spoilers... ). Later, her "digital ghost" somehow managed to break free into the net.

Maybe they are slipping her back as a cyborg-playable character, for CYBERPUNK 2077... My basis for that is not only the artwork, but the hidden shot you can find in the teaser revealed yesterday. In "Frame 47" you can see a cyborg hand with "red painted nails". The frame in question was mentioned by Marcin Iwinski during the last CDPRED conference...

I hate the female models in the original artwork, too- 80s glam girls with a few gadgets stuck to them? Bleccchhh. Glad it appeals to someone. I'll just try to find something else to look forward to about the game.

The new artwork certainly doesn't look glam 80's. Just a psuedo night-gown with a relatively modern haircut. I don't think they'll abide by the art's source material so much that it'll be a replicated.

Some info on CP2077 and TW3.


- Unnanounced dark fantasy title (Witcher 3?) is in more advanced stages than Cyberpunk 2077.

- Cyberpunk 2077 is the first in a series, both games are larger than The Witcher, both are multiplaform

- 2013 will be smaller stuff for CDP RED, no Witcher-caliber release

- Witcher for iPhone - too early to say anything, but not impossible

- no Witcher for PS3 next year, they want TW on Playstation, but not current gen

- both TW3 and CP2077 will appear on next gen consoles
